August 3, 2025Aug 3 This from a 'trusted source" 😂😂"Alejandro Garnacho, the talented Argentine winger, has officially completed his long-anticipated move to Chelsea. The 19-year-old, regarded as one of the brightest prospects in football, is set to undergo his medical at Chelsea’s London Colney training ground"

The scares of Robert Fleck run deep.Let’s see what he does in blue, he is very young still and has ability and this looks like it’s happening so…… I think it’s unnecessary, unless they just don’t think Estevau and Gittens are ready?Much rather a keeper.Sure but unlike Fleck, this boy isn't our club record signing or someone we're pinning our hopes on. Estavao and Gittens aren't ready. Neither is Garnacho. Neto, Palmer, Enzo and Pedro are the front 4 in our 1st XI in a cup final in May right now. But we're building the players behind who have the minerals to challenge that. I think if we saw a keeper on the market who could do the same, we'd probably sign them. It's a difficult role though, you either sign someone who can walk into the XI or you buy someone to develop them on loan (Penders). The former just isn't available. I wasn't sold on Maignan, I'm not sold on Donnarumma.
August 3, 2025Aug 3 I can't believe there's some sort of positive thinking on this because we could, maybe, make a profit ?FFS, what about the benefit to our FOOTBALL TEAM ?This constant, never ending , disruptive player trading is detrimental to building a squad capable of challenging or dominating the League and cup competitions..
August 3, 2025Aug 3 Gittens and Garnacho could be a pretty weak left side. Taking a gamble on one youngster is fine but two is asking for trouble. We could be hoping for a new left winger by Christmas.

The last thing this squad needed was young talent…. If u actually care about such things.
August 3, 2025Aug 3 I thought Simons could play anywhere across the 3. Unless he is going dirt cheap this is an expensive squad player even cheap that money should go elsewhere….. it’s like being in a slow motion car crash this deal is slowly creeping towards us.Like I said if he comes of course I’ll hope he kicks on and not off.

Joao Pedro can play on the left.We may well see Gittens and perhaps Garnacho end up on the right too.

If we had a left sided Saka or Salah say those players would never play left winger. We’re just buying another couple of wingers who he’ll not trust to play consistently. Hence shoehorning others to play in that position.
August 3, 2025Aug 3 As much as I don’t like the fella and don’t think he’s good enough, Garnacho is much more of a Maresca wide man than Simons, don’t see why Simons would come here as a back up no10
August 3, 2025Aug 3 Depends on the opposition really, but I’d imagine Neto or Simons are first names as LW or LF. Edited August 3, 2025Aug 3 by Sconnie Blue

Is Maresca going to have both Gittens and Garnacho on the bench in this scenario? This reeks of last minute Felix waste of time transfer bo**ocks again. Bets on who’s first to go on loan in January.
August 3, 2025Aug 3 I see many people say that we only have Neto at LW and Garnacho would cover that place. Doesn’t Tyrique George play in the left? I’d rather we had some faith on the youngster and let him get some experience this season as second choice than getting puppet fish Garnacho. If George doesn’t cut it in the PL, we may get Simmons that can play also there.

I’m all for strength in depth but this feels more unnecessary given it’s f**king Garnacho. On the bright side at least we’ll sell him to Arsenal for a profit. August 3, 2025Aug 3 Garnacho does feel unnecessary.RW - Neto, Estevao, and Palmer's best position is moving centrally from the right.CAM - Palmer, Simons, EnzoLW - Gittens, Neto, Simons (like Palmer, he moves centrally from the left)I just don't see how Garnacho gets minutes. Palmer and Simons will be nailed on starters for most games. Simons is not joining to play squad player, he's going to be regular starter, unless he fails to adapt. With Garnacho thinking he is already a superstar, I don't know how he is going to take to being a squad player.EDIT: After thinking about it, I guess something like this could happen.RW - Palmer, NetoCAM - Simons, EstevaoLW - Gittens, Garnacho. We have heard how Estevao wants to be a 10 rather than a RW, so maybe that is what he will be with us. Edited August 3, 2025Aug 3 by Scott Harris

I think that they know that Estevao might struggle with the physicality at first. I think that they will use him sparingly, possibly mainly I the CL. Another versatile forward player offers that depth.I am still convinced that we are not capable of moving on the number of players we need to so the old switcheroo is always going to be appetising. Man United and Villa are fave candidates for this. Jackson to Man U and Garnacho to us will work for them. I can easily see this happening.Problem is we're not selling Nkunku. For him then there absolutely is no more space. I can see a Chilwell season for him.

Club won’t allow it and they’ll sell him at first chance. Don’t even think the players allow it. I’ve told you before that Garnacho is essentially bullied on the national side because of his personality and immaturity. Hopefully that bullying is enforced here too.People made wild claims Mudryk being a drug mule would disrupt the team, we then went on to get Top 4, win another European trophy and become Champions of the world. It’ll be hard to have a super hard-line on him for at least the first few season or two though, locked in to a massive ‘fresh’ contract. And this is without even mentioning there are 4,400 football clubs in the world, and only Chelsea football club are interested in him. And don’t even get me started on Saudi, as much as he loves c.ronaldo, there’s no way we’ll be able to palm him off there with his ego, self designed standards. Oh, and Fabrizio Romano has received a fee from Garnacho’s agency to hype him up on twitter. This is fact. And it’s cringe.
August 3, 2025Aug 3 If we get him, I hope it’s on our terms and valuation.Anything more than 25/30m is ridiculous. It seems inevitable he’s coming here, all we can do is hope for the best and he ‘explodes’ here.Or is there the possibility of us leading them on, run it down to transfer deadline day and pull out, leave them scrambling about?
August 3, 2025Aug 3 My hope is we do a deal with Juve for Jackson and get Yildiz in return or some other left wing option becomes available. Plus him staying at Man Utd after all his shenanigans would be hilarious .
August 3, 2025Aug 3 Even without Simons, this seems unnecessary, especially if Jackson stays.Don’t forget, Quenda joins in 11 months! Edited August 3, 2025Aug 3 by PhilH930
August 4, 2025Aug 4 He's very talented and Manure would be stupid to let him go... cannot see it happening but you never know.

August 4, 2025Aug 4 Been re-watching clips of the past few seasons, and dear god, his decision making is even worse than I remember. You can’t coach that, that’s down to football IQ, you literally can’t teach it; when the pressures on and you’re making split second decisions, it comes down to natural ability. Aside from the odd ‘freak’ worldie he’s managed to score out of luck, his shooting is actually atrocious; like.. scary bad. Doesn’t scan the pitch, look down and run at people / hope for the best, fullback disguised as a winger. Well done United, we f**ked you over with Mount. It’s karma. Fair play.
