August 22, 2025Aug 22 Chelsea have been confident that they will end up acquiring Garnacho for as little as £30million. Man United are now hoping Spurs will make a move and a bidding war raises the price to what they feel is the true value for Garnacho. Best outcome: I think we could push up to £75million and lose out to Spurz.
August 22, 2025Aug 22 They owe us one for Willian. That was a diabolical liberty and this could be pay back. 😂Lets get his medical done. 😂Jamie o'Hara will have the last word. 😂 Edited August 22, 2025Aug 22 by OneTommyLangley
August 24, 2025Aug 24 Another great performance by Garnacho for United today. United will be very sad to let him go. What a team player.

August 26, 2025Aug 26 Chelsea are determined to sign Simple Jack from Tropic thunder.... I mean Garnacho from Man United. You wont be able to unsee this should he play for us.
August 26, 2025Aug 26 Hold the line United do not budge on your valuation it’s your player you can value them whatever you like, you can even increase your valuation!😉
August 26, 2025Aug 26 Chelsea now want to pay a £35m fixed fee for Garnacho but Manchester United want £50m. They have pointed out to Chelsea that Elanga and Madueke statistics are inferior to Garnacho’s. Chelsea could go up to £40m, including add-ons, in an attempt to get a deal done. (@guardian_sport)

This forum is apparently very "polarised" on most issues, but I think most of us are aligned on this matter.

Did you see the image someone posted earlier on this thread? That's what swing it for me... Our board is about to go "full retard."
August 26, 2025Aug 26 I'd like Garnacho if funds permit. Could be a valuable squad member and another option to unlock tricky defences. If he is successful with us great, if not then he gets moved on in 12/24 months. If hes in Blue i wont find him annoying to look at, but yeah that haircut coupled with the Manu red shirt has a grotesque look about it.Its become trendy to dislike him but if he arrives its a big welcome from me, and why wouldnt it be, he wants to play for Chelsea.Somewhat of a contrast to the workshy twat at Newcastle who wouldnt help out a club that hes contracted to, but a better haircut i grant you.

I would simply point at the Sancho experiment last season, who I rate as a better player than Garnacho, but was seriously underwhelming. Had a bad time at united, bang average time with us and was half the price. We already have a bomb squad we cant shift and have sold better prospects to accommodate. It just looks desperate from our part and not really needed. How is Garnacho better than Gittens? We dont know because We've not seen enough of Gittens yet. To me, it just smacks of doing the same insane spending to get into a similar mess 12 months down the line. We really need to clear the decks of the players we dont want or need before bringing in more average ones. 72 games in two years. 19 goal contributions. He'd have set the league alight now if he was special. Why not give that chance to one of our own?

Fair points, all of them but id be happy if we sign him, i couldnt give a damn about Clearlakes spending my interest is the matchday squad, if he performs hes in it, simple. August 26, 2025Aug 26 For the price quoted I’ve seen which is £35m it’s definitely worth a gamble.Even if he doesn’t improve I’m quite confident we can still sell him on for £30m+ afterwards.

We are at minimum doubling his £50k/w wages. What clubs will take on £100k/w wages for a failed winger? Look at the transfer market and the big money outside the PL is Bayern, PSG, Galatsaray and The Saudis. The former two won’t touch him, none of the top 6 in the PL will, and of the remaining bar 1 or 2 clubs in the PL he will be the highest earner. Seeing how difficult it is to get rid of the “bomb squad” you would hope the club isn’t thinking along these lines.

August 26, 2025Aug 26 I suppose “risks” at £20/30m range isn’t too bad. However £55-60m like Gittens is worrying. No chance we’re selling him for more.
August 26, 2025Aug 26 What is Garnacho worth? Not a lot. Man United have to sell him, want to sell him, do not want him, etc. He does not have any kind of a future at Man United. Nobody else is bidding on him. The demand for Garnacho is very VERY low. He is considered to be a bit of a nightmare to have in your squad. I would pass. He is not worth the hassle.

Just like I was against selling Gallagher to accommodate Felix so that the board can make a bob or two selling him on within the year. I don't think that Garnacho improves the starting 11, so he shouldn't be considered when we have free options that can do the job perfectly well.
