Messi was a heavy smoker till he quit and went on his healthy mindset. I remember he did an interview about it, or said it during an interview when he was asked about having quit smoking.

I don’t believe he was ever a heavy smoker tbh, and despite quotes admitting to smoking early in his career, there is no solid evidence, sound bites or anything to suggest he was a ‘heavy’ smoker, which would be a pack a day minimum. A cig here and there, is nothing compared to how addictive vaping is, hence, Garnacho is an idiot (as a professional footballer).

I know Messi in his earlier years was criticized for having candy & Coca Cola before matches. Never heard of him smoking.

Like I feared a couple of weeks ago, we’ve seem to have hung Simmons out to dry and Winstanley gets his way regarding his obsession with Garnarcho.

As I said before I’m not impressed with Garnarcho’s attitude but I can accept it easier if we still bought Simmons as well, but with Garnarcho the clear priority now I’m starting to wonder whether we’ll completely drop interest in Simmons when Garnarcho arrives.

How are you coming to this conclusion? Both players seem to want to come to Chelsea but no bids or offers have been made for either. If anything they’re both in limbo waiting for us to make an offer they can’t refuse.

No doubt we’re waiting for sales first. If anything Nkunku agreeing to go back to Leipzig would probably make the Simons deal happen immediately.

Because the latest noises tonight is that we have started club to club negotiations with Man Utd so the chances are we are more invested in signing Garnarcho than Simmons.

It's just one more mark against Garnacho though. The potential trouble he would bring wouldn't be worth it. As soon as this goes through, I expect him to be on Instagram posting "Freedom!"

He’s currently better than Gittens, who looks rawer than season 1 Madueke.

Estevao is generational but can’t be expected to play every single minute of every game.

Garnacho has PL experience and if previous Utd players are anything to go by will only get better when he escapes that cesspit.

I’m not totally against this, just as I said, at the right price and not with the view he’s the second coming and should start every week.

Its pretty obvious this is a "try and buy" loan, if he has a decent season and we can buy him for a price that means we can then sell on at a profit then fair enough. this is a win win for us I suppose, ignoring the fact hes an annoying little sh*tstick.

I think 30-40M is the max range I would go.
