Wouldn't want him even if he was free.

The price isn't the issue ... the quality of the player is the issue ... and the attitude problems are merely the icing on the cake to make it even more of a non-starter LOL

Quality wise I don't think he's worse than Gittens.

Got to be honest here, at the quoted price it’s a nonstarter.

However if we can get Garnacho in for 25-30M it seems to be a good deal.

He’s currently better than Gittens, who looks rawer than season 1 Madueke.

Estevao is generational but can’t be expected to play every single minute of every game.

Garnacho has PL experience and if previous Utd players are anything to go by will only get better when he escapes that cesspit.

I’m not totally against this, just as I said, at the right price and not with the view he’s the second coming and should start every week.

So, he has PL experience….. anything else?

Doesn’t pass the eye test, doesn’t pass the stats test (85 shots with 6 goals and 2 assists). Garnacho is a unique case, because his entire reputation has been built on deluded United fans echo chamber leaking out, and the 8-9 year old gen alpha/early zoomer kids who like his shaven eyebrows and can relate to his delusions of grandeur.

Whilst I prefer not to sign him, the argument is based solely on what is reported in the media. We have though done our due diligence and found him not to be naturally disruptive.

Are we judging him unfairly, he’s inconsistent much like the majority of young players. Comes from an unfavourable rival. Is there a bias against him in the same way Anthony Gordon received?

We look like we’re in for him, he wants us( which is a plus) and has played a significant amount of first team football in the Premier League. A deal similar to the one achieved with Sancho appears to be the way forward. That would be win/ win, if he achieves his young potential.

Th Athletic reporting the club view it as an opportunity but are not inclined to meet United’s valuation.

There is hope.

And now, we pray.

Funny though, starting to see (under the Fabriano Romano paid tweets) some Chelsea fans start to delude themselves, ah, the power of marketing.

He gets a big welcome from me.

Decent player and could get better in a quality team.

He wants to come to Chelsea.

Get the lad a shirt👍

Not worried about the price it will be to favourable terms, Utd need that deal more than we do. They are in no position to negotiate. Yesterday's heros nothing more.

I think Gittens already looks ahead of Madueke in may areas. Touch, dribbling, work rate, all well ahead of Madueke from what I can see. He comes across well too, not too full of himself, a team player.

He’s worth no more than what United paid Atletico Madrid.

Players like this are like a litmus test for whether you are the victim of marketing, whether direct or indirect. He is the Argentinian Jesse Lingard, it’s all smoke & mirrors, it does however prove, United are still one of the biggest brands in football, because there you can build this weird hype around you. Of course it’s aided by the fact, they have little in terms of youth to ‘get behind’. 38 games, 2 assists. 85 shots, 6 goals. Head down, and run footballer, zero IQ. A freak worldie here and there to muddy the narrative.

When we talk about the worst signings of all-time, the names that come to mind, tend to be there mainly for the fee involved, Lukaku re-signing etc, or in Sterlings case, the 300k+ pw wages / long contract. This one has potential to be right up there; stuck with a childish toxic manipulator in the dressing room, who won’t be shipped easily, and takes up valuable game time wasting big chances.

These were the best. They need to come back.

Oh those Mars Delights were wonderful. Got me all angry now remembering the end of the mighty Heinz Sponge pudding. Treacle pudding with custard mmmmmmmmmmmmmm.

If he’s coming which is looking likely I’d offer nothing more than a Sancho type loan.

Have a proper look at him next season and if he’s not offering much or has attitude pay the loan fee and send him back. No obligation to buy.

Can’t see anybody else interested and the player apparently wants to come here.

This deal if it happens should only be on our terms or walk away. He’s not even needed.
