I can't believe that Nkunku is still too slow for English football.  I know he hasn't had much of an opportunity so far but he should be up to the pace of our game by now. Just too slow and predictable.  This guy used to be a firecracker,  he was so quick and explosive.  He's a shadow here.

Put Noni up top, Palmer right and Nkunku in the 10.

Like many attackers coming from Germany, he's better facing the goal and running at defenders. He's often got his back to goal for us.

Of all the sh*te tactics we employ, having Palmer repeatedly going back into DM to get the ball must be right up there with the worst ...

The effort isn't there during games like it was several months ago...its just all too casual....Brighton want this game more than us ATM.    The midfield has been sh*te most of the season, yet on paper it should be one of the best in the league, but it's just set up all wrong IMO.  Even if he didn't like playing 3 at the back, he could play 4 and still overload down the side while the remaining 3 shift across.  Because we are weak defensively ATM we should have two holding midfielders and one attacking...the attacking one though needs to pick up a few goals here and there...our lot are just chasing shadows and overworking Caicedo just like they did Kante in the end. If Spanish spaniel is to invert anywhere it should be midfield, but he's not..he in the opponents box half the time, hence leaving the gaping hole behind him every single time which gets exploited time and time again especially when we lose the ball in the opponents half, with the Spaniel galloping back to fill the void  he created in the first place.  Caicedo needs someone alongside him who's disciplined and can sit, KDH or Enzo aren't the ones, Lavia was doing a decent job even though he wasn't fully committed to defending.
