4-4-2 went from the standard formation in the UK to almost no club playing it and that’s because of Pep.

I watched some of his teams play incredible football but that was when the other teams weren’t matching up against them. Pep football against Pep football is/was very very boring.

4-3-3 is a formation that stands up well against most formations and it’s the formation we’ve been very good at over the years.

I’d argue our squad is more suited to 4-3-3 than anything else we’ve played this season.
