Heart says 0-1.

Head says 2-2.

I just think there are so many players in this squad that don't have the grit or mentality to handle these big stake away matches, nor do we have a manager that can cleverly out tactic his opposition.

Note to self.

Follow your heart!

I think some are reading too much into how players celebrate and how players don't celebrate. I wouldn't celebrate top 4, I'm not even doing it now. It's relief more than anything. We've pulled it out of the bag at the end after a terrible 5 months of football.

Maresca's job is safe (sadly) and we now need to secure a long term sponsorship, get rid of a lot of players, bring in a few more in key areas, and pray that Maresca grows as a coach and realises that his handling of our attacking players, Palmer specifcally, has been awful.

Also on a related note. The ref robbed Villa of a goal through a terrible call thar stopped var correcting his mistake. Which is a bullsh*t rule and robbed Villa of going in front right before United scored. So be Villa not Newcastle in the CL 5th spot.

Agreed. Dewsbury-Hall coming on was a pivotal moment.

Actually Val, bucking my sentiments for large parts of the season, the entire defence was immense during that second half but particularly Tosin, Colwill, and Sanchez made a triangle safe zone in front of goal that was largely impenetrable. Both giants Wood and Milenkovic were very quiet throughout.

What circumstances? We used to mock Arsenal celebrating getting top4

The circumstances we are in. Have you not see what we are doing as a club? Did you register we changed owners? Have you witness us emptying house and replacing almost entire team with young players? What the f**k have you done last 3 seasons? Wake the f**k up!

VAR couldn't overrule the ref because he blew before the ball went into the net. The only thing they could check is if the ref had blown before the ball went in, and if it had, they would have given the goal. The ref on the field was solely to blame for that one.

Ended up being a lot more comfortable than I imagined. Bar the odd moment today, we never looked in trouble. Defence was as solid as I have seen them in ages and thankfully no brain farts from Sanchez. With the other results unexpectedly going our way too, meant a fairly relaxed afternoon.

With the summer arrivals to look forward to (Estevao and Paez) and hopefully Petrovic recalled as our No.1, we just need a TOP striker to turn us into a team others will have to be very wary of.

Players celebrating like they won the league - pathetic considering how f**king awful they’ve been all season!

Yet they made top four.

Sanchez has looked a lot better when he just does goalkeeping jobs. The brain fart were all from playing out and rash decisions. Shot stopping, commanding his box and rolling it out to start counter attacks takes all the heat away from him, and he's decent enough at that stuff.

Aye is what I meant. His whistle altered nothing in this case and is a rule that stopped var correcting his mistake.

As others have mentioned, many of these players haven't played in the Champions League before, so nothing wrong with them celebrating.

Big Ange must get the boot

Something just doesn't seem right to come fourth from bottom and still qualify for the CL. I know it's the rules so it's fair enough, but it don't seem right......especially when it's that lot.
