Finals are usually boring, tense, conservative affairs

I'm fine with this if it means we win (or at least keep it tight to the end)

From what I've seen in tactical analysis videos (I'm no expert just resharing), PSG like to go outside and then use movement to drag the opposition's central pivots (CDMs) out of position and then do a long diagonal into that CAM position for Dembele or someone else to get on the ball, turn and then run centrally at the defence (flanked by Kavatskelia and other deeper runners). It's super effective but i bet if you double up in wide areas and keep a spare man in CDM (someone who closes down the space rather than being dragged out to close down the man) you can shut it down.

It's if we try to high press Man-to-man where we may be drawn out of position and then get screwed the way Real Madrid and Inter Milan were.

This PSG side is super mobile but they aren't particularly strong or good in the air. By keeping in position and making them attack small spaces in lower tempo, I think we can frustrate them

Only slight worry I have is that we are notoriously bad in the first half, against a team like PSG it could very well be game over in 45 mins so we have to be very tight at the back. Once second half kicks in I have no worries we will get the win, we are second half FC for a reason.

Just to temper everyone’s expectations this isn’t Chelsea in a Cup Final, this is BlueCo CFC LDN.

We can’t rely on that past grit, determination and all round sh*thousery. We’re now a ‘system’ team with the only natural leader in the side being Enzo Fernandez.

Accept we’re going to get turned over heavily and take anything else as a positive.

I posted before that if we go in at half time level we might stand a chance if not gave over.

How hard was it to get tickets I’m actually in Toronto just now I don’t know why it didn’t occurred to me until yesterday to fly in for the match it’s only an hours flight

Rumours that Maresca is planning on using NKUNKU in midfield, if this is true then he should be fired before the game, its bad enough keep picking James there, STOP making stupid decisions, just play players in their correct positions, we have Santos if Lavia is not fit, play him

We MUST play Caicedo, Enzo and one other in midfield or we will get overrun, James must play at RB DO NOT PICK GUSTO,

My mates paid £9.50 I think for semi final ..£140 for final, dunno how good the seats are , could have done without the pictures of them larging it up in a New York bar though !

Happy to be wrong but I think we're about a year away from beating them... having said that we've definitely got some class in our team now and if they can turn it on who knows 🙂

We’ll learn a lot about Maresca tonight imo.

If he manages to nullify PSG and get a result, then fair play I’ll have alot of confidence for our games in champions league.

If he doesn’t, well nobody is surprised really.

Damn it’s hot today. Granted 800 miles south of NY, and I have a few years and pounds of the players, but after being in the garden, it’s roasting! Be interesting to see how they maintain focus and energy - same for both sides though

We are, but it won't hurt to beat them while we are still a work in progress. Would maybe make the full time doubters shut up for a while. Frankly I am really tired of people sh*tting on everything that happens at the club and every decision that's made.

Don't have any confidence at all on this game,just hope i eat my words after the game and celebrate like a madman,god help the neighbours then.
