I don't know why they are complaining, the rules about players interfering with the wall have been in place for a few years now.

I know away fans in England always make the most constant noise at any game, but Jesus, off the back of a couple of trophies and a return to the CL and a lovely sunny day home match to start the new season and our home support is still absolutely woeful. Is there anything that could be done to try and improve it a bit?

If anything, it was better in the two recent friendlies when the season ticket holders for life maybe weren’t there in numbers.

And there’s Neto trying to wake them up a bit.

Could argue 9 of this team were here last season, so we aren’t really seeing the injection of new talent. Hopefully we can get some chances for Pedro soon.

Situations like this we need someone like Gittens or Estevao to get the ball a bit deeper and just run at defenders.

Because Maresca is stubborn. He watched Palmer put on a world class display and still decided to put him back through the middle first game back.
