Palace beat Liverpool on penalties.

It's funny that people say the Community isn't a real trophy, but when fans and players are in it, they take it very seriously 😆

It is is a serious thropy but it is also the 1st serious game so for example pool looked very off the get go vs Palace. Not really a suprise since slot played 4 new guy and played two midfielders who played as am last season in pivot.

Bin dippers still booing the national anthem, very classy, utter riff raff the lot of them.

Ashamed of nothing. Offended by everything. Produces nothing. Expects everything. Scousers dont you just love them.

Got to look at the positives for Palace, I think they stand a very very good chance of winning the European Milk Cup as opposed to likely going out early in the Europa.

I understand financially it isn’t as lucrative but a trophy is a trophy at the end of the day.

Was viewing a whole load of online arguments on Twitter (X) where Liverpool fans were outraged that the minutes silence wasn't observed by some Palace fans so had to be cut short. Of course everyone was pointing out that it was probably a reaction to them booing the national anthem. Two wrongs don't make a right and all that and a load of scousers were saying you have to understand the reason WHY we boo the national anthem but an answer wasn't given and I can't be arsed to research it.

I know the obvious answer is that they do it because they are Rat Munching C***s, but that aside, does anyone actually know why?

my understanding is they feel that they have been hung out to dry as a region and dont feel part of the uk or england. They dont receive the financial support and respect they deserve etc etc but i think your assessment of rat munching coats or words to that effect is closer to the mark. I dont think they will win and hope they enjoy what they see as another sh*t sandwich. 😂

Victimhood can only take you so far in life at the end of the day most of us knuckle down and work. hey ho.

Feck them scousers. Honestly, I'm not that afraid of Palace, with the quality that we have, it's a matter of can the defence be properly integrated by game day

I'm hoping them losing that case is a right kick in the bo**ocks for them and they're all messed up for Sunday. Hopefully our boys remind them just what they're missing out on when they see what we've won.

It will be interesting to see where Crystal Palace goes from here. The ECJ ruled earlier this month that CAS decisions can be appealed and are subject to review by local national courts. It may not apply directly in England but Crystal Palace could undertake proceedings in a EU court.

Problem is, if they win, we'll start to see more of these challenges from clubs and it will start to undermine competitions. They'll be decided on clubs legal and business rights rather than sporting merit.

Imagine winning the Champions League but you can't lift the trophy after the final until some nerd at UEFA checks and double-checks your FFP compliance.
