Surprised by that Spurs result. Thought Burnley would give them a game.

They came up mainly on the back of 30 or something clean sheets. But that's Championship level against some very ordinary oppo in the bottom half. Plus the manager is an arrogant twat.

I'd still take him in a heartbeat. He has done brilliantly despite being undermined by his board.

How he managed to make Joe Willock and Joelinton look like actual Premier League players is beyond me.

Him especially. I think you're right about the board wanting Eddie out for a bigger name. He has a history of over-achieving with dodgy squads. Good manager.

I've always liked the way he doesn't really f**k about with player positions, just puts them where they belong. None of this ridiculous inverted full back nonsense, left players on the right etc.

Even Joelinton, apparently he signed as a midfielder/ attacking midfielder but Bruce shoved him up front cos he's a big un...

However put him back in midfield and used him correctly.

Graham Potter first sacking of the season incoming.

Agreed - all that was missing from that performance was the prat coming out afterwards and telling everyone "The boys gave everything..."

Joelinton was signed as a striker from Hoffenheim. Bruce, a dullard, persisted with him as a striker despite him not being up to it. Eddie moved him into midfield.

United look a lot more threatening and physical up front than they did last season.

Definitely still need more physicality in midfield though.

United are losing, but even they play better football than us.

I'm sick of Maresca-ball. When you watch other teams, you're reminded of how sh*t it is to watch.

The atmosphere at most of the other grounds is so much better as well, simply because there is intent from their teams (I know that OT is almost double the size).

Frank will make Spuds better as well. They will be boring as hell but more productive i reckon.

One of the reasons why the Bridge has become so silent is because of the football, I would argue it's the main reason. It's not exciting, it's boring, I want it gone. I want to enjoy watching Chelsea again.

Arsenal being Stoke again this season! It’s really funny that in the main it was arsenal fans banging the drum that mourinho was anti football when he first came in and now they don’t care even though they’re not a touch on what his team was

I thought United looked quite good going forward but they still have issues defensively. Amorim needs a good start otherwise he’ll be under pressure.

I think if that goal had been given against us we would be aggrieved, looks to me like the defender is too physical on the keeper.

Nuh. It was standard defensive pressure. Goalie panicked and flapped.

Extremely harsh considering previous inconsistencies. However, Leeds have been the far superior team and genuinely deserve to win.

They did. Their problem is going to be lack of a goal scorer. Piroe is Championship level at best and Gnonto, while he works hard, has never been a goal scorer. The new lad, the penalty taker, is said to be good. We'll see. Everton were dire. Moyes called out Beto during the week for lack of effort. End result? Zero effort.

Huijsen is a brilliant defender. Been Madrid’s best player v Osasuna. Why we dithered before wrapping up the deal considering how much we ended up spending this summer is still a mystery.

Beacuse Madrid wanted him, he wanted Madrid. What did you want us to do exactly, kidnapp him?
