It took Maresca about 14 months to realise that Sanchez can’t play out from the back and he needs to be able to go long quick, hopefully Rosenior figures that out much sooner

Only positive is that we lost only by 1. Not that it means anything regarding the tie as there's no chance we're beating Arsenal by 2 at the Emirates. Just that the scoreline isn't too embarrassing. Sad state of affairs.

This constant whining and looking for frees is an embarrassment. Cucurella prior to their 2nd classic example of it, also tried it against Saka when clearly he fell over. Too much of it, and the refs aren’t buying it

Considering we are missing first team players and it took Sanchez messing up twice for them to score, I would say its a good result to take into the second leg.

He needs to get used to it. The alternative is Gittens or Garnacho which I would say is worse.

As Rosenior said, he's only had the players for 6 days.

Chris knows how bad we will be by the time the second leg comes around.

Overall a sloppy performance by many, especially Sanchez. Best player by far was young Steveo who at least took the game to Arsenal rather than pissing around passing ‘safely’ just to keep the ball for keep sake. Garnacho took his chances and kept us in the game so fair play to him.

I think we will see a different Arsenal in the 2nd leg but hopefully we will have a full strength side.

Result not terrible.

Decent 1st game, but some wild subs, 3 centre backs on fron the bench when chasing game.

Estavao very good again.

Neto very poor again.

Defenders are all horrible and should be at clubs between 8th-14th.
