Joe Cole commentating makes me sad because it reminds me of the past that we've lost. If Joe Cole is the past, and this is the present, then the future is what Leonard Cohen said it will be.

The only times we've looked good is when it's gone to Delap's feet and we've done a few quick touches. But that's very rare. Otherwise it's just sideways and back, as usual.

I think delap is getting a bit of a rough deal here tonight... none of the midfielders want to pass it forward, how the f**k can he get into the game when the defence and midfielders keep it too themselves

I don't think we are having a pop at Delap, just highlighting the fact of how sh*t we are in bringing our CF into the game.

We need to move the ball much quicker and not be afraid to play through middle. The quality in our midfield seems wasted with this insistence on going down the wings. Our crosses lack quality and let's face it, is Delap going to get on the end of them anyway?

We need to commit more men forward. Push Reece forward to use his intelligence and lay off some telling passes, but above all move it quicker. Estavao on 60mins if we haven't scored. I'd actually bring on Gittens at the same time.
