Well I certainly don't hate that as much as the Nike ones from previous years so that's a good sign LOL

The new away kit is odd, the pattern is giving off Roma/colosseum gladiator vibes, it just doesn’t look like a Chelsea shirt. Probably doesn’t help that Blueco are taking away our badge for their LDN CFC rebrand, but still.

Having sponsor-less kits is every football fans dream, in theory, but the problem when you don’t have one, is with these alternative kits, without clear cultural nods, it lacks identity. Adidas had some flops over that era, but with Samsung on there, you had identity associations. Umbro always got the memo, in terms of general club identity, so that was neither here or there, but with the way Nike templates work these days, especially with away kits, it doesn’t help. It’s just not Chels. At all.

To be fair many clubs have been moving towards simplified crests on their shirts. There's an appetite for a more sober visual identity.

That being said you may be right, we never know what are the intentions of the Clearlake mob.

This image is mental if it’s that clear, probably just the lighting.. but still.

I would rather wait in the hope that a retailer like OkayJersey bring out a version of the new kit but with the Chelsea badge on it and not all this CFC LDN sh*t we are now seeing.
