c**t pointing at the badge.... Prick.... Got nothing all night from ref that's the difference.

Played like that 1st game maybe something to go for... .c**ts are masters of dark arts in defending... constantly foul & get away with it..yet ref books us for nothing....we just proved that they are ordinary enough even with there big squad & building for past 7yrs...hope c**t arteta wins nothing

Awful.

We were like a plucky little lower league team hoping to hang in there with the big boys .

That's how far our club has fallen, fans actually happy that we were " comfortable" and not getting slapped around by Arsenal .

Too passive, too slow, too scared to take a risk in a game that we needed to win .. Arsenal watching us playing keep ball in front of them.

What a f**king mess.

The entire brand of football we play needs to change. This sh*te has been ingrained into the club at this point and I am at my wits end with it.

Nothing significant will change as long as we are run by Clearlake.

Liam didn’t do enough for me to go and try and win this game. Never tested the Arsenal defence until the last 5 minutes. Pissing around again with slow build ups, passing for the sake of passing, taking no risks. We were one down, not one up we needed a goal to make Arsenal think, instead it was just a stroll for them. Strange starting line up for me….we had to go and score, while Pedro is hot, Delap is a disaster so where was the goal going to come from?

As I said, you can’t keep playing the same hand of bringing on subs in the 2nd half to bail you out and expect to win every time… I hope Liam understands that there is such a thing as a best XI …and he should have started with them today.

Spot on there... we need to find our best 11 and play them week in week out - so we look like a bloody team again - not a collection of individuals who don't really know each others game.

Not sure why we just didn’t put the ball into the box at the end. We were faffing around too much. Worked our way into positions to cross then just passed it back.

We executed the defensive part fine overall, but we just didn’t have the know how to break them down.

Always going to be difficult to turn it around. Damage was done in the first leg.

We approached the game trying to keep the scoreline within reach but we didn't really trouble them enough. On to the weekend

Just don't know how we fix the issue of our back 5 or 6 players just two touch tapping it around with no urgency afraid to make a risky pass.

I thought the initial tactics were ok yet the lift from Palmer, Estevao and Garnacho did not come.

Neither Estevao or Garnacho tested their men by putting the after-burners on down the line.........

Palmer kept finding space and created one chance finding Enzo who could not hit a winner today.

I can't hate Havertz we were just not good enough on the ball.

Rice saying how well we tested them today.

The one criticism of the ref, 4 times today by my count he stopped quick breaks by our team.

Liked LR putting on Josh as Gusto looked a Red likely to happen.

Another Manc referee from the Anthony Taylor school of c**ts.

I don't think Liam set it out that way.

The players just didn't execute. They should have been going for it then moment Palmer and esteveo came on.

Neither of them made an impact.

Fine summarisation

Well if you think that is pushing Arsenal all of the way, then delusional is the only way to summarise it. United beat them in the league at this ground a week ago, that was pushing Arsenal. We just played our usual slow sh*te we always play. It was cowardly tactics and too afraid to force the situation.

I’m a bit confused as to how the forum slags off most of the squad for being sh*t, too young, inexperienced and signed from farmers leagues, yet expects them to go out and attack and smash the team top of the league that hasn’t been below second for three seasons and are amongst favourites to win the CL.

We could maybe have pushed earlier, but if Delap and Palmer and Estevao and Garnacho etc were going to produce performances of that quality, it wouldn’t have made any difference.

The owners will love fans like you. It's like some fans have forgotten that it was this very competition that set us up to be winners under Abramovich.

Also our league challenge is already over which is why cups like this at least game a chance to win something. In the league we are scrapping with the also rans in the hope that we can grab 4th or 5th.

We did try to score and had a few chances. We pushed Arsenal all the way tonight and that can be seen in thier relief at scoring at the end. There's no way we were going to win this early and we had to stay in the game to stand a chance.

There's no way I'm knocking Rosenior for the approach. He's had these players for a few weeks and they seem to be with him. We would have been 2 -0 down at halftime with Maresca.

Pushed them all the way ??????

We did f**k all for 85 minutes, and even those last 5 we refused to put them under pressure in the box.

That was as gutless and negative for a semi that I think it could possibly have been, and I know that cowardly c**t is going to come out and say it all went well until they pinched one.

Not gonna have a pop at the manager as he's done ok so far.

I think Arsenal are a clear example of a team that's fit for premier league football, big strong athletic players it's like an old Mourinho side. Pedro did ok but they have the best back 4 in europe and I do have faith in Estevao but Delap, Garnarcho are out of their depth and Gittens is not going to change a game.

I don't care who the manager is, if you come up against top players you need quality to deliver.

Surprised to see a quite a few positive posts.

The bar must be so low if that was anywhere near acceptable.

We were very lucky to get to this leg at 3-2, couldve easily been 4-1.

Tonight, Arsenal did not have to score (still did in the end),but we did and didnt create anything because we were too scared to attack for 60 minutes of the game.

It's just a cope from fans, loser talk. Used to see that sh*t from rival fans all of the time when we were winning the cups.

Unfortunately that's what the Champions League has done to football. Getting knocked out of domestic cups but finishing 4th 20 points behind the Champions is supposed to be some kind of achievement. Shame really

I'm not criticizing the players. More the ownership policy that has led to this position. They spent a fortune to amass a group of kids with potential that they hope they can turn for a profit.
