February 7, 201412 yr Prisoners! was a decent movie but it dragged out a bit it felt like, enjoyed it though but sort of knew who the person who did it half way through the movie which wasnt very hard if you pay attention to the small things! Still one of the better movies in 2013.
February 10, 201412 yr Saw The Lego Movie yesterday with the old lady. "Frenetic" is a good word to describe it. I did like it, but it seemed about 15 minutes too long.
February 13, 201412 yr The Uninvited Guest (not to be confused with The Uninvited). A stranger knocks at a man's door, asking to use his phone. The stranger then disappears and may (or may not) still be in the house. Interesting and unusual, and worth a look.

February 14, 201412 yr ^ 2004. You should be able to track it down online. Can you put what happens in a spoiler box? Sounds interesting but I can't be bothered watching it and I can't find the plot on the internet anywhere!
February 15, 201412 yr The Reader. I honestly didn't watch it just to see Kate Winslet undressed. Honestly.
February 17, 201412 yr Watched a couple this weekend: The Wolf of Wall Street: I did enjoy it and thought it was really funny in places but surprised by the amount of praise it has been getting, I didn't think the plot was particularly interesting or clever when compared to over Scorsese films and I'm not sure it warrants the hefty 3 hour running time as a result. It's definitely worth of watch but if you a prudish about sex and/or drugs then maybe give it a miss because that's pretty much the whole film. 8/10 Lars and the Real Girl: Ryan Gosling plays a socially awkward and reclusive guy who buys a sex doll from the internet and pretends she is alive take her around in a wheelchair, he's buys the doll to deal with physiological issues, not sexual reasons. It's quite a sad film, Goslings character is endearing through his social awkwardness and I thought he played the part really well. 7/10
February 19, 201412 yr Cuban Fury tonight for me, a bit of light hearted entertainment after the Wolf of Wall Street 3 hour epic! Thank GOD it was 98% Leo <3
February 20, 201412 yr I watched most of American Psycho last night. Great film. Do you like Phil Collins?
February 20, 201412 yr Good film, but I think American Psycho is one of those films that is completely blown out of the water by the book. I like Nick Frost but Cuban Fury doesn't really appeal to me. The trailer with him incorrectly assuming a 'large' lady is pregnant doesn't do much to convince me either (how old is that joke?).
February 20, 201412 yr I downloaded the book last night. I will give it a read when i finish the one i am currently reading.
February 20, 201412 yr The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford, surprisingly enough for the first time. Loved it myself, definitely the best Western I've seen in a while, touches on a delicate but very fascinating part of history. Great performances from Pitt and Affleck in particular.
February 20, 201412 yr Last night I watched Stir Crazy again, and I swear it gets funnier everytime I watch it.
February 20, 201412 yr going to watch Robocop in the next few days ............................................................so will come back then
February 20, 201412 yr The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford, surprisingly enough for the first time. Loved it myself, definitely the best Western I've seen in a while, touches on a delicate but very fascinating part of history. Great performances from Pitt and Affleck in particular. Massive spoiler in the film's title though, dontcha think?
February 20, 201412 yr about to watch Lone Survivor, hope its decent! I enjoyed it. Not a very deep story but thrilling indeed.
February 21, 201412 yr Massive spoiler in the film's title though, dontcha think? Heh, well yep, though I should think that anyone with a rudimentary knowledge of the Old West should pretty much know what's coming.
February 21, 201412 yr After Ice Age I watched After Earth. It was ok. Will smith's kid gets on my nerves though for some reason.
February 21, 201412 yr Lone Survivor, great movie but a bit sad, almost came a few manly tears watching it considering its based on real events!!
February 24, 201412 yr Just watched Hoop Dreams (1994) on Netflix. I'm a big documentary fan, a big sports fan and an even bigger politics/sociology nut. What a film it is. Definitely one of my favourite films of all time.
February 24, 201412 yr After Ice Age I watched After Earth. It was ok. Will smith's kid gets on my nerves though for some reason. He lacks charisma, has a permanent pout and seems to be getting his roles through nepotism. Not a fan. Back on topic, I saw The Lego Movie yesterday. First 2 thirds are great, really funny and creative. The final third isn't so great, the jokes dry up and it becomes far too sentimental for its own good. The film just loses momentum as it goes on, probably could've done with trimming it down a bit.
