December 30, 20178 yr Ironically, Barkley could potentially fill that role as a goal-scoring midfielder, but I don't think anyone actually wants him, because it'll be another player blocking RLC.

And Bakayoko+Kante duo is not effective more than a table. Keep Hazard, go for Bailey/Lemar, sell Kante or Bakayoko, buy Hamsik or that class one. And then we can talk about Alonso/Moses. why would we contemplate selling kante who is one of the best midfielders in the world?

What'd you want to do? Bakayoko+Fabinho/Hamsik/Cesc/Radja/.. etc. Would not it be solid? We can surely buy Goretzka+Fabinho with Kante's money (FFP)

December 30, 20178 yr Does anybody remember how sh*te we looked without Kante? That’s exactly the reason why he’s irreplaceable and why, in my opinion, he’s the most important player in our squad.
December 30, 20178 yr Kante is an absolute gem. We do not, I repeat, do not sell Kante. Ben Davies at LCB or LWB for 25 Million would be a deal and half. Solid as a rock and nice left foot. Only 24 as well. Edited December 30, 20178 yr by Famous CFC

December 30, 20178 yr Guys, I didn't say sell only Kante. But you know too, Even only DSilva gives more effect than our mid trio. Why do we have to play with Kante+Bakayoko?

You've either been drinking or need to be monitored when using a computer, I'd literally keep kante over any player on out team maybe just slightly above Hazard and Azpi, in fact if we kept them 3...and tibo I wouldn't be concerned about losing any other player, maybe morata because strikers are hard to come by, but anyone can be replaced, but not Kante never ever ever say that again please Do you remember us pre kante?

December 31, 20178 yr If we are looking at bolstering the english ratio, i wouldn't be unhappy if we got Vardy. We would probably have to steam in and go large though. Vardy would work well with the kante -Drinkwater partnership, as before. With pace to burn he could also work really well with Cesc's pinpoint long passes. He knows where the bag is and would be a proper back up to Morata so that the burden could be shared. Not Champions league cup tied. He is english and could work really well for us now as his form is not bad at the moment and could slot straight in.

Does Champions league not count no? Name an actual good British left back in teh last 10 years btw, not much of a competitive field he has to run through, lets say "looks to be so far" best since Ashley, to keep everyone happy.

If it's in the last 10yrs, Ashley is still the best. Baines was a good shout after Ashley then you have good LBs such as Shaw is still a good shout pre-injury. This season, there haven't been any standout because most teams are now being defensive and parking the bus but to say there haven't been any good English leftbacks in the last 10 years is a bit off the mark.

Those are the 2 names I could think of also, and both declined in form rapidly, Baines is 33 now and has won f**k all, done nothing of note, shaw was injured but that was in 2015, didn't Mou pull him off mid game last season because he was playing crap, and he couldn't get back in, and I think he is injured again so he certainly hasn't done enough to be mentioned in the same league as ashley, who is miles ahead of both, so yea, in my opinion he looks to be better than those 2 the kid has bags of tallent he will go to a big club guaranteed.....unless he goes to liverpool

Cresswell looked to be the English leftback of the future a couple seasons ago, but now his form has dropped off considerably in the past two seasons.
