I think it’s outrages that a financially sound club like Newcastle are forced to sell their best players.

This is not financial fair play just a way of keeping certain clubs at the top by restricting those trying to challenge.

The whole thing needs ripping up.

Isn’t that knee of his is a big, big, big problem. He's already done his medial and meniscus. Unless the fee is £35m max, I wouldn’t touch him. Even at that; apart from the injury issues, he is another 5ft 10 midfielder. Matheus Fernandes at West Ham is a more interesting option with the Disasi bargaining chip if they stay up. Still think we need to prioritise a 6ft+ mobile player in the middle

Fernandes is 5'10".

Knee problems at the top level isn't as big an issue as it was anymore. As long as it's not muscular injuries, there shouldn't be a huge drop in performances

People will hate that he plays for Brighton but Mitoma is a top left winger who would be a massive upgrade on our current left wingers.

I'd say through the spine. Strong 6ft+ CB, centre Mid, and a tall mobile CF

Well, he remains a Chelsea player. Apparently no indication from Bayern whether they will extend the loan. If they don't, he'll be back. Beyond that, it's anyone's guess.

I think those three are likely to be in contention. Satpaev joins in August when hes 18 but i think hes going to Strasbourg. Panichelli is injured so who knows if he will be sent over from Strasbourg. Im sure we will be involved in talks re a number of high profile strikers as always, but we dont have much in the budget unless we want more issues from the spending police. Other than that its the reintegration of the enigmatic loon that is Nico Jackson. We are certainly missing his 12-14 goals a season - albeit on a good day.

i think we are a long way from sorting the striker position, given the output currently (JPedro excluded) we arent seeing many touches or involvements never mind goals. Id play without a striker and use an additional attacking midfielder until a credible candidate surfaces.
