If we got good money for him, say £40m and we were able to sign someone quality as a replacement I wouldn't be completely against it.

For me we'd have to bring in either Sanchez or Bernardeschi, anyone else and I think we risk mediocrity if we sell Willian.

I'm not convinced Willian suits playing in the 3-4-3 system because he isn't aggressive enough in attacking positions.

The way we've played, we look to that front three to score the majority of our goals and create a lot of them too. I just have my doubts that Willan can fill that role. Like I said if you could get say £40m for him, combine that with the £60m we got for Oscar and you've got £100m in the kitty and you could probably attract a really top quality signing.

I know what you mean, re aggression/directness in attacking positions it's for that reason I think Bernardeschi would be a good signing for us (knows Conte from the national team, also plays in a 3-4-3 system at Fiorentina, is comfortable right/left inside forward, could be one of the next generation of 'world class' players etc).

I'd hope Willy gives it until next season however, our CL place is as good as in the bag so he'd be nailed on to get more gametime next year.

I am surprised Conte hasn't considered him for the RWB role, if I had to take a guess at the start of the season as to who will Conte deploy in that position I would've said Willian without hesitation. The only question mark over his game is his decision making in the last third however from a stamina, pace and work rate view on paper he appears like an upgrade on Moses. However having said that in football it's not always that simple and Moses has arguably been one of our most important players this season.

They want a 100 mil for a player that could leave for free next year? Clowns.  All we need to say to him is don't renew your contract and we will give you 50 grand more a week that if we buy you, agree personal terms from now. Didn't real threaten something like that with Degaya ? If he doesn't renew they will panick because it's play hard ball and lose any fee on him or accept 45 now and still make a nice return, they just aren't in a position of leverage, silly, silly scousers, drive up a price that no one bids, he doesn't sign then it's also in the players interest because the bidding war next summer will be for his wages not his transfer fee, win for him and for potential suitors.

That report sounds false....very unrealistic valuation

The one thing that i have to commend Lukaku on is this - He knows he wants out of Everton and he refuses to sign an extension. Everton know that their only option is to sell him. I hate it when players who want to leave the club sign the extension and throw hissy fit when they cant get their move to a different club.

So he leaves Chelsea because he isn't playing and wants to play more, so they think he should go to Man Utd and do the same. JT will go somewhere like WestBrom so he can carry on playing in the PL and plays for a team that will protect him and be defensive.

Could be a cracking signing. And he's available for just 20m. Love the way he glides across the pitch effortlessly.

Can't help but think Tammy could do a similar job but I fancy this lad. Spurs and Arsenal are interested apparently, but if we don't get him, I hope Everton do. He'd be a great investment.

There is no chance of us giving Southampton Christensen in a permanent deal, it would surely be a loan deal.

But i don't know how Christensen would feel about it though, if he was at Man City, Liverpool or Barcelona he would probably play 20+ games for them, such a shame if we are still not prepared to give him his chance.

this would be retarded

It would be ridiculous and I'd like to think we're not that stupid, but who knows.

I keep reading rumours about Bertrand being linked to Chelsea. This morning the rumours are Bertrand disagrees with Puel's tactics and wants out. I always thought it was a mistake Jose selling him. However with Luke Shaw also likely to be sold by Utd, who would be preferred at LWB ?.

luke shaw is a crock at the ripe old age of 21. he is like sturridge it seems, quality when fit but is too injury prone. bertrand is good, but would he seriously be our answer for lb/lwb? is alonso much worse?

Agreed, this would be a monumental mistake. I believe we will sell Zouma, I don't think Conte has faith in him

I have believed for a while Conte is not going to give a sh*t about giving our promising youngsters a chance if we can purchase one who he feels like is a better player. And for that reason i wouldn't at all be surprised if something like Christensen to Southampton so we could buy Van Dijk happened.

I don't think there is much difference if any at all. However unless Conte is willing to use Ake at LWB, we need cover for Alonso and Moses. Unfortunately Azpi is not a RWB, so we would also need a RWB.

On both occasions when Alonso was missing at Man Utd and Moses against Palace, we were unbalanced and looked disjointed.

Even if we were that stupid let's hope we include a buy back clause to the contract.

I don't believe that at all. Christensen can play for the top clubs in Europe, he isn't going to play for a mid table Premier League side.

it wouldn't make sense considering christensen said he would only return to chelsea to play. if i'm not wrong, i am sure matt law said chelsea are keen for him to return to chelsea as well.
