I was just thinking, we were chasing Sandro whole summer long, but after the deal turned dead no other LWB rumours came through. So the board knows we need another LWB, but think Sandro is the only LWB in the world ?

 

There could be some surprises tomorrow, players signed that we weren't even linked with, like it was last year with Luiz and Alonso.

I just hope it's somebody good, rather than another one of Papy/Hector variety.

We'll get Llorente and Drinkwater and optimism on this forum will drop lower than West Ham's prospects of avoiding relegation.

Ricardo Pareira had a great season with Nice. Played right back and left back, as all as further forward. He could sort out two or three positions. 

Pereira, Drinkwater, Liorente would be a good window for me...

Add Mahrez and I'll be very, very happy. 

We'll probably see Rafinha, though, or some other similar player.

I don't remember the last time there was so many top class players available?

This summer it seemed that pretty much anyone was purchasable.

Seriously though I'd be happy with llorente - he's looked a beast in the prem and deffo gives us another dimension than either of our current two strikers.

Swap Bats for Aguero or Sanchez and we're all set.

Someone who holds it up would be nice, Morata looking a bit light weight so far when receiving, I'm sure he will learn because it's not all about brute strength and in any case he shouldn't be weak he is a big lad, but it's about how you set yourself and distribute your weight, he hasn't gotten used to that but I'm sure he will, until then someone strong like llorente would offer us a different outlet.

Kyrchowiak wants out on loan because he does not want to sit on the bench for a World Cup year. So why exactly would he (or sanches) for that matter, come to Chelsea to sit on the bench? 

Im fine as long as we get both Drinkwater and Llorente, they cover the two most urgent needs.

I don't agree with signing good-average players to cover/compete with just good players. This is why i'm not too disappointed to have not gotten Oxlade-Chamberlain. If we can't get a WB we think better than Moses or Alonso then we shouldn't sign one.

That said, if both Mahrez and Lemar move tomorrow, we'll have missed a trick if we sign neither of them.
