Kevin De Bruyne

In all honesty at this point (from what I have seen) I would have KDB in the starting line-up over both of them. Would be utter madness to let him go.

I think you are getting a bit carried away. Playing against mid/lower table Bundesliga teams is not the same as in PL.

What about playing against top table Bundesliga teams?

hes a troll. i would disregard his posts if i were you

Noticed that too.  Lineup at the start had him on the right.

cant remember the last time ive seen an 'expected' formation that wasnt something utterly ridiculous

First goal, KDB with a nice dribble and then a through ball to Lukaku, Howard knocks it out to Mirallas who lobs it in for the goal.

Also, it means f**k all coming from the ESPN commentators, but they said "what we've been hearing is that Mourinho, when he assumes control, will recall both De Bruyne and Lukaku to be in the squad for next season."  Just passing that rumour along...

So long as it is on loan and not permanent, it might work out better in the long term.

Not sure how much game time he would get here, another season in the Bundesliga will only help him.

If we loan KDB out again it can only be because we want to sell him next year and they're hoping to increase his price. He's already proven himself capable of playing at a high level, I can't see any other reason for loaning him out again.

i agree

i dont see what more he couldve done to deserve a place in this chelsea team, carried werder to the bundesliga title? next year hes supposed to come back and compete against oscar and schurrle who both will have more premiership and chelsea experience

i wont be surprised if he ends up asking for a transfer

I dont think the club want to sell him, not after what he's accomplished. I believe the rationale is that we are stocked with AM/creative attacking midfield players right now and that KdB would only be returning to sit on the bench.

I wouldnt be surprised if he got fed up myself, but the club need to make sure they know how he is feeling about it, and that he is going to be a major part of the future here. And according to something I read a week ago, KdB has stated to the Belgian press that he is willing to wait his turn to come here. Considering his London roots and how young he is, I'd say we probably have a little latitude with him.

Total games last season:

De Bruyne: 32 (Werder Bremen first choice)

Moses: 29  (Our fourth choice)

Hazard:44 (Minor injurys + 3 game suspension)

Oscar:44

Mata:43 (Missed some games since he was tired)

I don't see De Bruyne struggling with gametime compared to what he would get in Germany. De Bruyne is better then Moses and I think he fits better then Oscar in AMR/AML. We were also lucky with injurys, suspensions and fitness with our 3 amigos this season, might struggle more next season.

I don't think the club want to sell him at all, Its the club policy and project to buy 19-22 year olds and loan them out and see how they develop. We use to buy alot of 16-17 years old play them in the youth team and then loan them out but apart from Stoch,Chaloaboh no one really progressed and that policy wasn't working. The signings of Courtois,Lukaku,KDB,Wallace,Omerou etc and maybe Van Ginkel buying them when a bit older and having already played in the first team of there respective clubs seems to be a better way to buy young players instead of 16 year olds who have never played first team football.

It seems clear that we want to sell KDB, I cannot see any reason why we are considering letting him go on loan again..

To allow a 21 year old to gain first team football experience that we can not guarantee him?
