When’s he coming back?

he is not coming back to Chelsea - he only came to Chelsea to experience winning - now he will stay in Spain & visit Liverpool - I doubt he would want to live there cause he would get his house robbed every time he would leave

I don’t think he’s welcome there anymore. Another club that can’t show any class when a player decides they want to move on to a bigger club. Players generally feel the love at Chelsea for the rest of their lives and beyond.

Enjoy your pipe and slippers. Sadly will probably never be surpassed as my biggest ever disappointment in a signing, chipped in with a few big moments, but never lived up to his form with the dippers.

He was in decline before we signed him.

Well he was a reigning world & european champion when he joined us.

Only the fondest of memories about Torres.

Nice little interview with Fernando going against the Scouse gospel.

He added: 'It was maybe my fault for not being able to adapt quicker. I had really good moments but I was not consistent. And if you are not consistent at a big club like Chelsea and you are not performing every week then someone will come in and take your position.

Damn. I can remember the day we signed Torres very clearly, it was the most excited I’ve ever been about a signing and well, he turned out to be sh*t. I really think he was one of the greatest strikers to exist, we just never saw that version of Torres here.

Link for the doc? It's on Amazon Prime:

Feel like everyone will like him much less after watching it, for the most part he's a whiner and doesn't take any personal responsibility.

I got to that point while he was here, i don't need a documentary to know that guy's a brat, it was clear in his body language and interviews (reading between the lines) from day dot. There was even one where he unbelievably used the infamous lack of service excuse himself!

He wasn't as good as made out in his prime either, his Spanish colleague David Villa was head and shoulders above him.

Cheers for that, watched it during the night. A couple of things I took from it, one of which, is that most managers in his later career, other than Rafa, lost a lot of faith in him. I didn’t see anything on it referring to Carlo at all though.

Maybe he respected Carlo enough not to 'name and shame' him, but pretty much blamed his whole career post Liverpool on either the club or manager. It was strange watching Simeone having agreed to take part in the doc, be diplomatic and then Torres being pretty scathing on him in the next scene.

All in all I think Torres was pretty honest for the most part, he just can't being himself to acknowledge that post injury he wasn't the same player anymore.

There is a thing on Skysports called ‘premier league legends’ or something featuring yes Legends, on it Torres 90% at liverpool

You watch it and remember why Roman became obsessed, he was f**king awesome, lost his pace and power, and looked like he never trusted himself again, odd sparks, but it’s a great watch if you just love football

Can't recall many Premier league moments when Torres could be described as awesome in a Chelsea shirt. Certainly didn't display much pace or power. He did look phenomenal for a couple of years with the Dippers, but it is clear that he was past his relatively brief peak when RA splurged out on him (and not on Aguero Grrrrrrrrr).

I never said he was awesome for us, his time at Liverpool was though, check my punctuation.
