Roman has ripped apart our entire club to try and get Torres playing well, and all he can do is bitch and moan and continue to be a waste of space on the pitch. This is a man who as soon as we had achieved the greatest win of our history, came out with a load of bullsh*t because he was upset and not playing more. A man who admitted he didn't care if we won or lost. A man who despite ridiculous amounts of support from the home crowd over 2 years of utterly appalling performances, still finds new ways to disappoint every week.

Honestly couldn't give two sh*ts if he scores 30 goals between now and the end of the season, I want him gone.

Pretty clear to see that the resentment of Torres that was starting to show through the cracks in recent weeks will be intensified by the (pending) appointment of Benitez. People will consider that he has been brought in with an eye on trying to get the best out of Torres and this will clearly make people want rid of him even more than they alreday did. Basically they will blame him in part for RDM sacking, even though they will know it wasn't actually his fault.

If there is any truth in the notion that Benitez had been brought in to get the best out of Torres I despair. I truly despair.

Benitez can do nothing for Torres, just like buying the best attacking midfielders money could buy barely did anything for him.

Unless Benitez has a time machine Torres will still be Torres- he will still not score enough goals, this much is glaringly obvious.

I can tell you right now that if you think he is going miraculously turn Torres into the player he once was then you are dead wrong. I'm not a Torres basher by any means and I will continue to support him until he goes elsewhere, but the sad truth is that he will never be considered a success at this club as he just isn't a good enough striker anymore.
