Against Swansea I thought lukaku was good but not great. Excellent play mixed with wild play. A great goal but some wild shots. Clever passes and ridiculous flicks.

There would be a lot more pressure at Chelsea. We give people we don't like hell.

I really do think Lukaku could become another legend for us. We need to play to his strengths and with Mata Hazard Oscar we've got no reason why we can't.

Give him time I'm sure he can be a world class striker for another 10 years, hopefully with us.

That's exactly what I thought when I read that. Drogba was a very unrefined player when he joined us. His scoring record was good but he was wildly unpredictable in terms of his touch, skill and control. I would bring Lukaku back in a heartbeat. Sure, he won't be the finished article but he will be an asset and he will develop into one of the world's great strikers. We just have to give him a chance, and by that I mean not sign someone who will stand in his way. That would be a crime, IMO. Lukaku has the spirit and the will, the strength and the character, the ambition and the cojones. In short, he is everything that Torres is not.

I think Chelsea will want him to be with the squad for pre-season training and following that and our dealings in the transfer market I would imagine a decision will be made with where he will play next season. 

I can't see any reason why he shouldn't be here next season even if he's not first choice. He will get plenty of game time and will give us a different option.

Made all the more amusing by the fact that Lukaku did not cost 20M.

For some reason that number stuck with the media. Don't remember what the accurate number was but it was less than £20M.

13M with escalators potentially rising to 17M or 18M at most, as far as I recall.

It was 12m, rising to 18m
