It depends how long it takes him to get over his broken ankle. He may not return until October so we probably won't start seeing the best of him until the new year.

I think he'll be back by early September but his fitness will be questionable.

I'd rather he takes his time getting healed. We've seen how bad he was when he rushed himself back on the pitch. It's better for him to heal completely and get back to full fitness

He has no reason to leave. This is his team. He's getting better each year in the toughest league in the world.

He looks in good shape for a bloke who's been on crutches for weeks. Compared to his chubby start to 15/16
