Eden Hazard - Chelsea Legend

That includes Jose right?.

It would have to include him but usually Managers are not who we are speaking about in these terms, usually applies to players. If Mourinho some how transformed into David Moyes and gave us David Moyes type results, I'd imagine he wouldn't be around too long. At present there aren't any issues with our manager.

So you are saying that is all Jose who is giving us these results? I am pretty sure that Eden Hazard has done just as much, if not more, when it comes to the results that this team has had. One could argue that we would have lost more games if Hazard wasn't on this team compared to Jose managing it.

Jose always a gets a pass from the fans. Yes I understand what he has done for this club, but that doesn't give him an excuse.

Points this year vs points last year says you are wrong.

CL too.

You are comparing two different teams with sets of different players. Pointless argument.

What else could he do?

So your imagined scenario holds more weight than my real world one? Because he had one or two different midfielders next to him ?

Tried his best when he came on today, to no avail.

I think we need to bring back his little brother next season and see if another Mata/Hazard-esqe partnership forms. Willian and Schurrle can pick up the pieces if it takes time to take flight.

Points last year has nothing to do with the amount of points this year. The argument is who has more of an impact on the game. Hazard or Jose? I would say Hazard. Take him out of the team we struggle a lot. Take Jose out and leave Hazard, yes we would struggle but not as much as if Hazard didn't play the game. I would also argue that replacing a manager is much easier than replacing somebody like Hazard.

Oh and DKW, I didn't know your "Forum Police" shift started. So please, continue to evaluate everyone's posts without contributing anything. I'm sure the personal insults will start soon. (I haven't posted much on here but it didnt take me long to see that you sure do live up to your reputation)

Women love a man in uniform mate! I am assuming you're sitting in your Shed End PD uniform are you not?!

Its basically a leather gimp suit with a shedend badge on, face mask and everything. You still imagining it? :)

Maybe because he was at fault for the 1st and 3rd Athletico goals. If he tracked his runner each time, the defenders and DM as you claim wouldn't of made the mistake because Hazard would have had his man covered.

And if you are seriously, putting Hazard on the same level as Ronaldo then you are insane!

Of course he's not at that level, it's the expectation from Jose. If Jose expects 20+ goals from Hazard, then he should cut him some slack comes to defending. A weak cross is put in the box, 4 defenders plus the GK failed to deal with it or track the solitary runner, and we hold Hazard responsible? This football is a funny game.

Do you seriously believe this cr*p? Must be high on something ,let me have some!

The thing is, like mata, hazard will say to himself or his agent will tell him. 'I don't need this hassle,I can command a place in most teams in Europe at the same money and playing football that suits me'.the tail wagging the dog maybe - but Jose is setting himself up for a huge fall.his player management is a joke and if he doesn't do something special next year he will become one as well.

I would point out that our most creative player, Hazard, has half the amount of assists as Matic since he joined.  I would also point out that CFC had no problem dumping PSG out of the CL sans Hazard, same with beating LFC at Anfield etc etc.  To me, Jose is far more important.  Hell, Mata was far more important than Hazard and look how Jose done without him.  Having a laugh if you think Hazard will have a bigger chance of CFC winning than Jose.

Hazard is a talent but there is no trophy in the cabinet that I feel I could look at and say "Hey, without Hazard we'd not of had a bloody chance of getting this one".  There are numerous I can say that with in regards to Jose.

Personally, I think a lot of this is blown out of context.  Hazard states that we play counter-attacking football instead of "pure" attacking football, and that's contrived to be an assault on CFC and Jose.  Jose points out that Schurrle and Willian did better jobs defensively vs Liverpool and Ateltico than Hazard did and that's contrived to be an attack on Hazard.  Thing is, neither were said in a hostile fashion and both comments are pretty straight forward opinions that the vast majority of us would come to had we been asked the same questions.  How has this all turned into a "Jose or Hazard" issue?

And if it is, been nice knowing you Hazard.  Your best season with us was 14 goals and 7 assists in the league.  Pretty good but considering those stats represented a piss poor year for Super Frank Lampard, certainly not an irreplaceable output or player.  Also consider that while mountains have been made of Hazards progress, its only been in scoring goals.  This season 14 goals 7 assists or 21 points.  Last season, 9 goals 11 assists or 20 points.  Again, not saying a poor player but these are certainly not the stats of a player, say Suarez, who will have a bigger impact on a team than a manager like Mourinho.

End rant......?

Neil Ashton on the money in the Mail today. Meltdown at Chelsea. Something will have to give. It might get to Hazard v Mourinho

Have to side with the player this time. Jose's gigantic ego is becoming annoying. No one person is bigger than the team and that goes for him as well.

absolute bollox from a pair of the biggest dicks in the media and that's saying something

One day he's brilliant, the next he's frustrating as hell. There is something I cant quite put my finger on at the moment, but I don't know if I trust his commitment, and maybe he thinks he is too good to do what Jose says.

Many have came out and said he could be the next Ronaldo or Messi, really? I am not sure I buy that. Messi is 26, 3 years older than him and hes been one of the best for years. I guess there is time yet for him to blossom, but can you really see it happening? Too often these types of players are overhyped from the get go.

There's no question that he can do brilliant things, but I don't know how I feel about him, is he going to stick around? Probably not. The good thing is if he is the real deal we will get one or two big seasons out of him before selling for a lot of money.

I hold little personal attachment to him, unlike the older Chelsea players who I ultimately trust and respect hugely.
