Yes, he's been a fantastic servant and for most of his time here was irreplaceable. I can see why it's the right time for him to move on, as it was with Mikel.

My avatar is a bit of him celebrating his winner V Benfica, which was a magic moment for him after being banned for the CL final ( as Geoff Shreeves so sensitively informed him minutes after we'd knocked out Barca).

Every player who has appeared in 5 or more games are eligible for a medal.

Both Schurrle and Salah got medals at the end of the 2014/15 season, even though they had moved on in the January 2015 window.

Additionally, the club can apply for discretionary medals to award other squad members, who did not make their 5 appearances.

I miss him already 

If that was his last game, what a fitting end to a great decade he's had with us, such a great player in his prime and one of the best defenders we've ever head, I will miss him. 

No celebration, looked pissed off the whole time he was on can only mean he's gone and he knows it.

So for one last time . . . . .

 

 

In his pomp he was an absolute machine.

Those goals against City and Benfica were 2 brilliant highlights of his time here, what a way to sign off if that was it today.

He's a club legend imo, been irreplaceable for us over the years but unfortunately he's not the same player he was and all good things must come to an end.

Branna is more than a cult hero. He has been influental to many of our trophies not least our CL trophy. The word legend is thrown around lightly but I would put Branna in that category.

Here here. The Napoli game was one of the most memorable nights down the bridge for me and as said pivotal moment in the clubs history. Brana has been a great servant and I've loved watching him. Thanks for the memories Brana.

Fantastic servant to the club the time is definitely right to leave performances dropped drastically over the last few seasons but what a fantastic player he has been!

He's a legend,  earned the right to make a decision on his future. He still has  a couple of years left in him, can't blame him if he wants to play regular football. We have and will lost hell a lot of experience this year, Mikel, Ivanovic, JT all will be the past comes next season. I could be wrong, but is Cahill the next longest serving player? Without looking too far ahead, next season we could really do with some experience on and off the field with our recruiting.

Fantastic legend who is scored some heroic goals, Liverpool and Benfica most memorable to myself and many. It is time for him to move on though, but a legend he will remain. Thank you

Hero of the Bridge, fans forgot how good he was not that long ago when he was regarded the best right back in the league. Scored some crucial goals for us and won everything available in the game. The word legend it thrown around but he is a true Chelsea legend.
