December 18, 201510 yr Nevin is a genuine and wise man and not like most of the media. If he mentioned Fabregas he worded in that manner to avoid litigation. Can't see him mentioning Fabregas unless Garry Richardson told him off the record and he wanted to get it out in the public domain. Maybe Nevin is disgusted at the temerity, talking up Mourinho in the media and privately slagging him off. It if true would be the ultimate judas act.

He says it like he's not sure because he's probably going off what was in the media. We have no proof anyone even said that comment. As I said if someone did say that aswell you can guarantee Mourinho would have dropped them and he barely dropped Cesc.
December 18, 201510 yr Fabregas seems like that sort of character though? In his arsenal days we all thought he was a whiney scrote. Looks like he hasn't changed at all, sell him in January. Oh I miss the Lampard, Drogba, Terry & Cech days.
December 18, 201510 yr Nice to see so many have come out and labelled him the rat that we have no proof there was one, and that he said a comment we have no proof anyone even said. Classy The fact he is one of the players who pubically backed Jose and was the first to show his support is more a fact that we can see unlike the two accusations above, The only thing he should be condemned for are his sh*t performances.

Reread my post and it's based on me having the utmost respect for Pat Nevin and knowing he is not a sh*tstirrer. Can't see him naming a player on a hunch. He then follows it up by jmplying he Fabregas was one of the strongest so not sure if he Nevin is implying it was a flippant heat of the moment phrase. Is David Deins son still his agent?

He doesn't name him in a hunch, he basically says "wasn't it" to whoever he said it to. That to me implies he's going by what came out in the media.

Exactly not a hunch, see how I used the phrase as in Nevin was told off the record. He works with the man " Garry Richardson" who used the phrase so why would you think he would go by what was in the media when he works with the source.

Point been the way it reads he's unsure if it even was Fabregas and as I said we have no idea if it was actually even said
December 18, 201510 yr Author If it was true, Cesc would come across as a right sh*te, seeing as he was the first to offer some sincere words of sympathy on media about Jose.
December 18, 201510 yr If it was true, Cesc would come across as a right sh*te, seeing as he was the first to offer some sincere words of sympathy on media about Jose. Why would he do that if it were true? Think about it. It's media bullsh*t to sell papers, speculation and nothing more.
December 18, 201510 yr Why would he do that if it were true? Think about it. It's media bullsh*t to sell papers, speculation and nothing more. Exactly, tbh I find it funny how people are quick yo believe the media stories that fit in with their theories but are happy to dismiss others.
December 18, 201510 yr Author So because someone says its true, its definitely, unequivocally the truth.....behave
December 19, 201510 yr Author That i'm not for rumours, but Cesc, JT, Dave, all offered their apologies, i'm not sure if we are at cross purposes here, and its late my friend, lol

Classy The fact he is one of the players who pubically backed Jose and was the first to show his support is more a fact that we can see unlike the two accusations above, The only thing he should be condemned for are his sh*t performances. I would disagree to the point of saying that his poor form isn't even close to being the main reason to condemn him. It's his clear as crystal "I dont care attitude" that has my ire. Many examples of him turning the ball over easily or allowing his opponent to score through a complete lack of effort just to follow it up with just walking away like he forgot someting trivial on the bench but it's still the most pressing task at hand for him to get it. Mourinho made the mistake of calling it emotional maturity and being able to handle the pressure, putting forth more effort to defend under performing players than some of thos said players put into a match day performance. You'd be forgiven for thinking he had no stake in the team winning in many of his performances. From my experiences, when someone is able to show that calmness when things are going that bad, they are either a zen master/great actor or someone who just doesn't really care about whats happening around them.

Lots of fans are hurting at present losing a manager who many see as our only chance of winning silverware now and in the future. They are hitting out ,taking onboard everything that is said through the various media outlets. The truth is none of us at present know the true reason of why the sacking occurred. It's all conjecture, conspiracy theories abound. How much do we know? Our defence of the title has been abysmal. Despite winning the title, our general play has been awful for close on a year now. We had a very poor pre season both on and off the field. The Eva Caneiro affair did occur. Players have not performed to the high expectations we have. José had reverted to type and hit out at everything when things hadn' t gone to plan. The club cannot afford to get relegated. We are redeveloping the Bridge at great expense. There will be other things too, we just don't know with any accuracy what they are.
December 19, 201510 yr That's my point though we don't know much, we know what we can see on the pitch and we know Fabregas has publically backed Jose. What we don't know us if there was a rat and if anyone said that comment. That's all the points I'm making here.

December 19, 201510 yr Nice typo that makes 3 from yesterday now Edited December 19, 201510 yr by Bobbywoodhogan
December 19, 201510 yr 100% agree with him Same here mate, everything he said was spot on and to be fair he usually is.
December 19, 201510 yr I guess he does make the point that either way, whether intentionally poor or not Fabregas' terrible performances have been part of the reason that Jose lost his job. I don't think it was intentionally after all Jose kept picking him despite him not deserving to be in the team
