Cesc Fabregas

Featured Replies

I posted earlier in a thread, maybe this, maybe the Matic one, who knows?  In that thread, I mentioned how I felt Fabregas' wandering was being detriminental to Matic as it forced him to stay deep where he could be exposed.  I'm wondering if we could reverse that somewhat and claim that having a sore solid DM next to Fabregas allows Fab to play more freely.

Someone that paid more attention to Barca's set up could maybe prove this hypothesis wrong (if I remember right, didn't he play further forward?), but I'd be interested to know his history.

I said earlier i reckon Matic and Mikel holding and Cesc license to play, with a front 3 of Willian, A.N other and Costa, which would follow the Barca way Mikel=Busquets, Matic=Rakitic, Cesc =Iniesta, not exactly player for player, bt positions match up..

At Barcelona he found himself playing False 9 as a centre forward and even as a left winger at times.

OK thanks, I thought that was the case.  Heir to Iniesta, and ended up playing further forward.

Yeah he was signed as the heir to Xavi but lacked the positional discipline to play that role and lacked the patience and build up play of say Iniesta. He's quite a direct player as we see ourselves sometimes tries to force the issue a bit too much so didn't really fit in perfectly with the tiki taka play.

What an idiot.  Work for Chelsea, though you're an Arsenal fan, and then verbally attack a player of the club that employs you.

The funny thing is, he doesn't even realise how hypocritical he is, calling a player a snake for leaving Arsenal and joining Chelsea, yet he's an Arsenal fan working for Chelsea.....clearly not very bright. Also, round of applause to those tossers on Arsenal TV who thought it'd be fun to share the video, you got him sacked.

Those f**king fan TV things need to end.  And I don't care if that means a few less folk lay eyes on Sophie Rose

Don't compare the respectable Chelsea fan channel to those awful channels.

I once chatted with a security guard at the Chelsea village. He was an Arsenal supporter as well, but happy that he had a job.

Apparently the one abusing Fabregas wasn't as happy to have a job :-) What a tool.

Arsenal fans are so precious its hilarious.

If Cesc is a "snake".... then what is Cech??

Do we boo Cech and call him a snake?

Arsenal, and their utterly cringeworthy fans channel, are an embarrassment to football.

As someone else said on here a while back, its like their wear their cringeworthy status as a "badge of honour".

Very strange creatures...

Well as we know Arsenal Fans think they and their club are the classiest out there and we are the equivalent of classless scum that's why we call our ex-players snakes and boo them every chance we get ohh wait its the other way round.

Like Liverpool fans, they live in their own world.
