December 22, 201510 yr lol, is that a given that he will come? you know 1 thing good about cesc being the rat is maybe because of pep.. that's probably the only reasonable reason for me him being the rat.. even so, it's still an opportunistic scheme.. He's not the rat and that's even if there is a rat which I am very doubtful of
December 22, 201510 yr He's not the rat and that's even if there is a rat which I am very doubtful of Don't let the facts get in the way of a good witch hunt bobby!
December 22, 201510 yr Honestly people believe far too much paper talk. There is no way anyone was deliberately losing, or playing bad on purpose. These are top professionals. Yes some wouldn't of got on with JM, and would have been far less motivated to play for him, casuing a drop in performances. But for fans to be booing players, and making banners is appalling. Nobody knows the ins and outs. Let me just say that if Cesc or Diego were 'rats'. Jose would have banished them completely, not kept them in and around the team. As for hounding our best player out the club (the only WC player with Tibo)...the less said the better.
December 22, 201510 yr The sooner Fabregas slithers away from this club, the better. Media conspiracy aside, his performances this season have been embarrassing and he has the heart of a pea.
December 22, 201510 yr I don't. Off field antics aside, their performances and effort have been atrocious.
December 22, 201510 yr He's not the rat and that's even if there is a rat which I am very doubtful of very good not to focus on the negatives which could be long story.. just let bygones be bygones and move on.. There are still CL, FA cup and maybe even the league to play for..
December 22, 201510 yr By that logic get rid of all the team...no evidence yet the witch hunt continues...
December 22, 201510 yr I really disliked his interview the other day when mentioning "big players and small players". It just sums up his mentality for me.

December 22, 201510 yr I dont understand how they could possibly sue? Surely it is an opinion, and cant be proven one way or the other. Nevin has plenty of evidence to support his case going on Fabregas' form this season!! he is suing for defamation of character Nevin is trying to argue that he referenced Cesc because of previous media speculation but he could be on a sticky wicket with this; even though he qualified his remark with "wasn't it?" he still put Cesc's name into the public domain as the "dressing room rat". If he has no evidence that establishes Cesc as the culprit, he does stand the risk of being sued. best outcome would be an apology and a restored understanding between gentlemen - but if Cesc goes on being boo'd and singled out by the fans he is within his rights to go to the courts to protect his good name - especially if indeed he is not the "rat" - if there is one at all!

As for hounding our best player out the club (the only WC player with Tibo)...the less said the better. The only issue I have with the banners is that they targeted only 3 individuals when, as has been said here already, we have no idea who was doing what behind the scenes. Besides Willian and maybe one or two others who we could clearly see giving their all, the rest of the players quite rightly deserve to be booed. They cost us our manager, and our season. And with no Champs League next season, they've made their mark on that already.
December 23, 201510 yr The body language between Cesc and Jose has always been good. I don't believe he was to blame. I just think he's suffering more than most due to bad form.
December 23, 201510 yr http://m.bleacherreport.com/articles/2601617-cesc-fabregas-reportedly-involved-in-training-ground-row-with-charly-musonda Pretty funny if true, musonda showing no fear of the senior players. Hopefully gets a chance here.

Sadly I agree with you. I think Pat has made a bad error here, and I hope that this can be sorted out amicably. He claims Gary Richardson - the source of the 'would rather lose than win for JM' story - is a colleague AND a mate in his article, so he should have known a lot more about the whole story that he appears to claim. If I was Fabregas I'd be pretty upset as well, given that he'd just obtained a grovelling apology from the Secret Footballer site. I would hope that, as he never went ahead with suing that site, he'll be happy with Nevin's apology and will call off the legal action.

December 23, 201510 yr Great stuff from Cesc. Hope all the haters can now get behind him as he is one of us.

There aren't many who can hold their heads up so far this season. If I was him I wouldnt allow myself to be schooled by any of them. Edited December 23, 201510 yr by kennypaul
December 23, 201510 yr I love that Musonda did that. I don't care who it was done too, just the sheer bravado of it is fantastic. I really hope Hiddink gives some of these guys (including Abraham) a shot in the first team
December 28, 201510 yr Let him. If any of them wanna f**k off when things are not going well (part of the issue being themselves playing sh*t) then let them. It's fine when things are going well, but they don't wanna pull their fingers out and help the team/club out the situation they've partly caused.
