Mikel for me. Played well defensively, controlled the game pretty well and of course scored a goal. Ivan played a lot better than he has recently, he would be a close second with Oscar.

Thought everyone had a solid performance this evening!

Schurrle, Hazard, and Oscar were all very good.

Cole, Cahill, Terry and Ivanovic didn't put a foot wrong all game.

But I have to give this one to Mikel. I just have to.

I think Shurrle with Ivan a close second. They were the only ones to seem to want to go wide in the first-half when weren't getting anything from the middle. Hazard had a really bad game today.

Mikel again!  Can't believe I've voted for him three games in a row.

Oscar a close second, but Mikel, aside from his goal, was a presence we've lacked in the middle.  Hope he continues to improve.

Oscar for me, close close call with Mikel and not a bad showing from the team as a unit today, some wasteful balls and sometimes players not on the same wavelength but that's to be expected.

Torres gets an honorable mention. His introduction brought a better system into the game. The rest of the team seemed to know Torres's movements well enough to link up with him.

Are people voting for mikel just based on the goal? If so I'll jump on board but if you aren't then I have to seriously question if we watched the same game. Oscar and ivan miles ahead

Much as I'd like to give my vote to Mikel as he had a solid game rounded of with a super strike I'm going to have to vote Oscar.

Oscar by a bloody mile.  It makes it hard to really criticise Jose for not playing Mata, when the guy that he prefers in the number 10 role is playing so bloody well.

Honorable mention to Schurrle - who was the lone attacker who was willing to stay at the sideline to offer us width (which directly led to the goal).  First half we were phenomenally narrow - and I presume Jose mentioned it at half time, because Shurrle really rectified the situation.  I'm not really upset with Hazard - but with the amount of double team action he is getting and lack of space he has to work in, you'd think he'd shift his focus to the wings at times.

Oh, and well done Mikel - after another attempt from 25 yards, he finally got one.  Now he can stop shooting from a mile out.

Stat for the day - Mikel has scored more League goals for Chelsea than Torres, Eto'o, Ba and Lukaku combined.  Staggering.

This season, yeah.

1-Mikel

2-Oscar

3-Ivanovic

Everyone else was ok, no particularly bad performances. Torres' 30 mins were no different to the usual...

Also good to see Cole have a solid game after two absolute mares against Everton & Basel.

Went for Ivan...Mikel got better but is also one of the reason why our play was so slow in huge first half...for all of oscar's nice touches, can't remember him setting up a chance, which is why he's at no.10. Ivan was very solid at right back and helped out going forward

Oscar without doubt. Never created a chance apparently but a pure team player.

I'm sure we can analyse plenty of Mata's games last year where he never created a chance but contributed considerably from no 10 last year but not only if we watch highlights.

Its has to be Mikel for me he played well and scored his first goal!,well done should play up front next week?.WAS that the fans booing at half time? come on what you want jose out some fans are never happy
