When Mourinho makes that much effort in praising a youngster as he did with Traore in pre-season you know the guy is special. Good for the club, good for Mourinho and good for the player that he signed (or got to sign).

Great news, in my opinion he could do a job for us now but i'm sure Jose will introduce him slowly.

I'd love to see him get a gig in the next CoC game.  I know he's still just a baby but his coolness on the ball is something that very few have.  I know i'm exaggerating a bit, but watch our pre season games again, it was very Ozil-like.

Delighted to hear it, he was fantastic in preseason (as unimportant as those games are) and I am also delighted that we have a Burkinabé player on our books. La patrie ou la mort!

He looked good in pre-season but you can't base too much on that. The downside will be another player we may well lose to the ACN every couple of years.

 

Great news for the lad but not such great news for the likes of Chalobah, McEachran, Ake, Swift, Loftus-Cheek, Piazon, Van Ginkel etc etc...........

 

So many young players, so few spaces.

He was but i assume that has been sorted out now. The contract wouldn't have been signed otherwise, surely?

 

He will probably go out on loan straight away, along with the 9 billion other players we have plying their trade elsewhere, but he looked a confident, mature player in pre-season.

 

I'm aware that KDB did too, and we all know he can't get a game right now. Still, I'm glad we snapped Bertrand up.

The kid did look really good pre season. Lets keep our fingers crossed that hes one of the few that actually end up doing the business for us and not one of the North of the Border teams.

A good young kid with a fun name to hear the announcers scream on goals. Only problem is the midfield just gets that much busier. Time to find some more defenders.

I think the requirement is something like playing in 75% of Burkina Faso's games in the last couple of years and I don't think he's done that. There might be ways around it though.

Makes me laugh when people complain it will hinder other ********* ( insert name where necessary ) . The guy is an emmence talent, what does it matter where he comes from, how long he's been here etc etc.

If a club in the UK had have been seeking a work permit for Leo Messi prior to him obtaining sufficient caps for Argentina to qualify we are confident that we could have obtained that work permit!"

 

So technically yes, but it's not likely.
