Wasn't sure where to post this. Gerd Muller, one of the finest strikers of the last fifty years, is suffering from Alzheimer's. Very sad.

For Forty years he held the record for number of goals scored in a calendar year. 85 goals in 1972.

That's really sad. The way he destroyed England in the 1970 World Cup filled me with awe as a 10 year old, even if he made Peter Bonetti look daft.

Dortmund fans didn't come into the stadium until after 20 minutes as part of their protest.

 

I recall that a few years ago fans of a Spanish club (can't remember which one) threw tennis balls onto the pitch. I think it was because their game was televised late at night.
