Conte resigning. Had a good relationship with Vidal. Would be really worried if Vidal goes to them; we should really hijack that! Or Pogba instead but doubt they'd sell both

Strange time to walk away given pre season has started.

He's either had a job offer or there's an internal dispute going into the new season.

Vidal hasn't gone yet.

There has not really been any sources of Pogba to us, except if you consider him playing FM and being in London as 'sources'. Vidal to United seems to have picked up in Chile and Italy, and that transfer seems more likely.

Yeah seems that way

I would of thought vidal would sign for a club capable of winning the champions league. He's gonna be close to 29 the next time United are a threat in Europe.

I guess money talks with this one.

Vidal is far from his peak. He's got many good years left in him. The other thing is most of the top clubs are stocked in midfield. Arsenal could use him as a major upgrade over Flamini or Liverpool for Henderson but that's about it and it seems both clubs' interest lies elsewhere on the field.

Conte's gone. I think it's far more likely to be over Pogba rather than Vidal as Vidal is more replaceable.

Given Pogba was in England recently and is a young, French international there is only one club that he is destined to sign for.

I think he'll be a great signing for Newcastle.

Papers putting two and two together. We are not signing a 60m player..

United and us being linked with Pogba following Conte's resignation. 

 

Didn't he leave United due to their mistreatment of him, you would think he would be reluctant to return there and I think they are more likely to sign Vidal, strong reports linking them to that move. 

 

Not sure I can see Juventus selling both Pogba and Vidal even if it would bank them £100m.

I think Liverpool proved last season that with an average defence and no European football you can be a threat. If United got Vidal their midfield/attack would be class - arguably better than Liverpool's of last season.

Arguably? I would say considerably better. They still have a fully stocked CL team who havent had to downsize after 4-5 years away from the CL. Liverpool haemorraged players, they dont have the squad size at the end of the season to challenge on multiple fronts. Liverpool have almost lucked into massive cash for Suarez as its allowing them to actually bring the numbers in, although not the same absolute quality. Man Utd thanks to their comercial revenue probably wont have to for at least 2 seasons. Player for player Man Utd arent worse off than Liverpool but as soon as you get to Liverpools bench you are looking at young unproven players and Kolo Toure.
