Just means we'll have to wait another 2/3 years. 

I see pogba as a big city guy. I think Barcelona and madrid wouldn't do it for him. He was pictured in london recently and there's many reasons why he would choose a great city like london, with plenty of things to do and see, rather than learning a new language and going to cities that aren't as exciting.

madrid isn't amazing tbh. Didn't really enjoy going there. But barcelona is top notch yeah 

When your'e a multi millionaire footballer, London must be up there as a tempting destination, I expect the same kind of thing as Frank and the appeal with playing for NYCFC, I mean come on, who wouldn't want to be stinking rich and popular resident of New York.

Okay, granted, I have been to neither, but he was pictured in London, and New York recently too so he is obviously someone who enjoys large cosmopolitan cities. He is into his hip hop (London is has a large Artistic community, especially underground hip hop, and plenty of concerts involving the biggest rap/hip hop stars, eminem being an example) and he has family living here too. He could also get into France easily via Eurostar if he needed too, and going to Spain would mean him having to learn another language, whereas I am pretty sure he can speak English (no language barrier) which is another positive. 

 

 

P.S. your comments make me want to visit Barcelona now. I might have to book up a flight & hotel lol.

and virtually anonymous. I remember reading how Guardiola loved the fact he could walk a street or duck in a grocery and never be recognized. I think Lampard won't be as anonymous as Pep but considering the amount of celebs who ride the subway, walk in the parks, or do just about any other thing in normal life, Frank will easily blend in.

Pogba is something special already and his addition to our midfield would turn us into a juggernaut.  Matic, Pogba and Fabregas in a 433 is eye watering.  That said, I can't see it happening.  This summer would be our best opportunity to sign him but it doesn't look likely.  I'd move Ramires on to accommodate him, he's like a younger, better version.  The only hope I have about it is the fact that Jose rates him highly and some weird sh*t is going down at Juve, but I could see him doing a Kroos and ending up with one of the Spanish clubs next summer when they're better prepared to sign him.  

Yeah this is certainly our best chance to sign him since both PSG and City got Financial restrictions and Madrid bought Kroos.

 

And we have also got money to buy him after the sale of Lukaku, Luiz etc.

Will be interesting to see how this plays out closer to the end of the window. If nothing, then I at least hope he doesn't sign a new contract. It will be excellent leverage for next season.
