November 3, 201411 yr Would love to see Warnock get relegated. It's inevitable IMHO. palace w/ their morals will be perfect for the Championship. Adios parrots.
November 3, 201411 yr crystal palace have f**ked it up. I see Palace's no1 atmosphere helped them tonight - f**king Jim White! Edited November 3, 201411 yr by enigma
November 3, 201411 yr Has to be said, Phil fcuking Dowd was awful yet again...two blatant pens for palace not given and another arrogantly delivered second yellow for nothing challenge...it was like watching him ref chelsea Utd all over again Edited November 3, 201411 yr by The Brit
November 3, 201411 yr Tony Barrett ( Journo for the Times) and Paul Joyce (journo for the Express) have both tweeted that Brendan Rogers looks likely to 'rest' Gerrard for the Madrid match tomorrow .. Surely this would be 'dropped' rather than 'rested' for Stevie G
November 3, 201411 yr The kind thing would be for Real to say 'look, call it 8-0 and we won't play the game'. I think most Liverpool fans are dreading the match. Wouldn't say I'm dreading it but more resigned to our worst ever battering. The way this seasons gone so far I don't dread anything but equally no longer expect anything. I do find some of the blind optimism quite staggering at times though. Even one of my mates who has followed them everywhere since he was 14, and was the eternal optimist recognises we're now officially sh*te, and no longer tells me to expect a comfortable win every time we play. And the return of Sturridge won't fix anything quickly. Too many in the side/squad clearly couldn't give two flying ones. Edited November 3, 201411 yr by Mr Pink

LFC aside, it does look as if you are in trouble (and the same can be said about us). Apparently Sturridge is in Madrid. Is he nearly fit? I agree that he will not be the answer. I was chatting to a mate today about what happened to the Suarez money - do you know? Clearing debts poss?
November 4, 201411 yr From Website Newsbiscuit. Harry Redknapp ‘doesn’t understand writing’QPR boss Harry Redknapp says he’s ‘not got a clue’ and ‘couldn’t give a toss’ about advances in communications technology over the last thirty millennia. Redknapp was responding to questions following a ban by the FA on QPR’s Rio Ferdinand for using a derogatory word on a social network site. ‘I don’t know what a Twitter is. Or an Interweb, a fax, a radio, a Morse code, a book or a bleeding hieroglyph come to that’, he explained. ‘But I’m not completely thick. I do know what a PC is; I’ve been nicked by enough of the bar stewards over the years.’ ‘I’ve heard that there’s something where you can speak to a person in another room or even a mile away without shouting your lungs out. I think it’s called a telling-bone. Whatever.

November 4, 201411 yr “I was looking at Yuri Zhirkov, but all I could see was a rib-eye steak. Perfectly grilled, juicy, smoking, medium rare. I looked him in the eye and suddenly I was starving.” OK.
November 4, 201411 yr Just read that apparently Manchester United's starting XI against Manchester City this weekend was the most expensive starting XI in Premier League history.
November 4, 201411 yr Just read that apparently Manchester United's starting XI against Manchester City this weekend was the most expensive starting XI in Premier League history. Mata & Falcao in for Januzaj & Rooney would make it significantly more expensive too.
November 4, 201411 yr This from the Costa Rican league on the weekend and I must say this is one of the best volley goals I've ever seen purely because of the way the striker controlled by the ball with his upper body and the timing of his shot was perfect. I don't know what's up with the commentary but nevertheless it's absolutely priceless!
November 4, 201411 yr That commentary & the effects/echo sound like something out of rollerball, can we sign him? In unrelated news, we should be very afraid ahead of this weekend:
November 4, 201411 yr So the full United starting XI was: 01 de Gea - £22m 25 A Valencia - £12m 12 Smalling - £12m 05 Rojo - £15m 03 Shaw - £32m 17 Blind - £18m 11 Januzaj - free 31 Fellaini - £27m 10 Rooney - £30m 07 Di María - £60m 20 van Persie - £24m Those transfer fees are off the top of my head so I might be a bit off with some but overall I think it's about right, like Jonty said if Mata had started ahead of Januzaj you'd be putting another £37m on top. So a grand total of £264m for United's starting XI. But of course, we're the ones who buy the league.... blagh blagh blagh,

I don't think anyone will be accusing Utd of buying the league anytime soon.
