February 4, 201511 yr Liverpool are so crap I'm always amazed why it seems we have to work so hard to beat them. But for the red card they were on their way out tonight - lucky escape.
February 4, 201511 yr You just knew when eidur fluffed that header it would come back to haunt them...let's hope palace beat them again in next round
February 4, 201511 yr Put a fiver on Liverpool when it was 1-0. Bolton players looked knackered after an hour.
February 4, 201511 yr I only watched the last few minutes and I still heard "illustrious club" and "Gerrard's deserved swan song" from Townsend.
February 4, 201511 yr Dortmund players apologise to their fans immediately after their loss this evening https://amp.twimg.com/v/02d9d879-b5ae-4741-85ac-5ba57a878830
February 4, 201511 yr I just had a terrible vision of watching a match where the pundits are Redknapp Sr. and Jr. Might as well drag two blokes from the pub into the studio.
February 4, 201511 yr Klopp has been a joke he has to be on his last legs Schurrley Rock bottom of the BuLi but through to the knockouts of the champions league.. strange one. This was after the game tonight https://twitter.com/SBienkowski/status/563098903567167489Pretty scary, really.
February 5, 201511 yr Dortmund players apologise to their fans immediately after their loss this evening https://amp.twimg.com/v/02d9d879-b5ae-4741-85ac-5ba57a878830 That is sad. Feel for the fans and the manager. Its really baffling the position they are in after losing just Lewandowski from last season, although they have had a lot of injuries admittedly. Klopp looks absolutely horrible there. His reputation has taken a massive hit this season, and even someone like him is apparently one bad result away from getting the sack. Also seems strange that they haven't gone and bought a striker when they have absolutely struggled for goals this season, but keep playing Immobile who has been Torres-like in front of goal, and all while being in real danger of getting relegated. I wonder what is going on behind the scenes there, but surely all is not right. Looking at it from our point of view, I don't think we should be letting anyone get Hummels, Gundogan or Reus on the cheap without a fight. Those three signing would really give us the perfect squad and could possibly be made for the price of one Pogba.
February 5, 201511 yr With the squad they have it's an embarrassment that they are buttom of the table. There are world class players in that team, their performances are not acceptable. Managers get the blame for these kind of things, but no manager is that bad. The players have no character by the looks of things. I wouldn't want us going for any of their "star" players right now apart from Reus.
February 5, 201511 yr In Dortmound's case, this is what happens when the team has no confidence, and striker can't score. I'm surprised they didn't get another scoring options in January, someone like Etto could have helped.
February 5, 201511 yr In Dortmound's case, this is what happens when the team has no confidence, and striker can't score. I'm surprised they didn't get another scoring options in January, someone like Etto could have helped. All teams suffer with confidence at some stage but this is getting ridiculous now. If Dortmund get relegated then this will be a bigger shock than Greece winning Euro 2004 in my opinion.
February 5, 201511 yr Goes to show how much that prick Piers Morgan knows, if Arsenal lose a game he wants Wenger out immediately and Klopp in ASAP. By the looks of it I'm hoping it is true. Although to be fair what he did at Dortmund was scary, also kept losing his best players, bayern destroyed them financially, otherwise they would still be challenging today.
February 5, 201511 yr Rock bottom of the BuLi but through to the knockouts of the champions league.. strange one. This was after the game tonight https://twitter.com/SBienkowski/status/563098903567167489Pretty scary, really. Haha how the mighty have fallen. Klopp was being touted as the next managerial messiah not too long ago. The dumbfounded/gormless look on his face as his players approached the fans is hilarious. I saw Dortmund play Arsenil at the Emirates a few months ago, and they were really, really bad. Nothing seems to have changed, their confidence has been well and truly sapped, like Aston Villa's. It will be a miracle if they manage to stay up. Why weren't they more active in the transfer window? Tut tut.
February 5, 201511 yr I will be physically sick if Gerrard scores the winner. Ah not so bad, it's Coutinho instead As much as I dislike the Dippers, have to say in Coutinho they have a very good player. The more I see him, the better he gets. All the time they have him, Sterling & Sturridge, they will cause teams problems. Hate to say it, and I know he's a different kind of player, but I would take Coutinho over our three Brazilian midfielders. Edited February 5, 201511 yr by Nibs
February 5, 201511 yr Hopefully they win and go overboard with the celebrations. Literally overboard. Ooops, splash!
February 5, 201511 yr I wouldn't mind at all if Gerrard got a medal on his birthday (have you heard it's his birthday on FA Cup final day? It's mean mentioned once or twice by a few media outlets) as long as it's a runner's up one.
