August 17, 201411 yr Author Newcastle, Spurs and Villa, three times you can never, EVER rely on..........
August 17, 201411 yr Newcastle causing problems, but don't have the quality to convert their chances.
August 17, 201411 yr My scouse friend got onto me the other day about Chelsea fans singing during 'you'll never walk alone' last year at Anfield. He said it was disrespectful to the 96. They really are stupid aren't they??
August 17, 201411 yr Scousers: Silent every moment their team isn't winning. But they are still the bestest fans in the whole wide world... Thanks.
August 17, 201411 yr Scouse f**ks, so undeserved. I can't disagree. Saints were the better team today. Their one touch game was superb at times. Deserved a point at the very least. Everyone by us said at the outset you can't play Getratd and Lucas together, in fact you can't play Lucas full stop. Totally gone now. But together both sit too deep and are too slow now. Doubt we'll see Johnson starting too many games now given the amount of competition he'll have once all are fit. He's getting worse these days. The new lads all did pretty well today. As for Gerrard, don't know how many games we'll see him play this year. Not completely gone yet but the end is in sight. Can see us giving plenty more goals away if we keep up with this passing across the back line.
August 17, 201411 yr We will see, Liverpool are not going to get the easy ride this year they got last as lower teams will take them more seriously. I know you'll probably point to his goal but his contribution today was dire. He is never in a million years going to be an all-round forward in the Drogba mould. But he is already a quality striker. He gets in the right positions, he has good movement and he finishes a very high percentage of the chances which come his way. Basically he is JFH with more skill and a load more pace.
August 17, 201411 yr Cabella looks very tricky and can pick a pass. Reminds me of Nasri when he first came to England, lots of tricks and no end product.
August 17, 201411 yr If Newcastle had any real quality in the final 3rd today they would have got a point at least.
August 17, 201411 yr Liverpool churn out a win they do not deserve? Sounds like United at their best. City win because their opponent simply cannot produce against them? Seems like the city of last year. Good start for both title challenges. Can also add the Gunners fluke a late win, which is typical Arsenal. So if they remain true to form they will burn out by end of March then lol.
August 17, 201411 yr Not worried in the slightest about what I've seen so far. Liverpool are weaker without the canibal and United are a joke. City will be the main ones because Arsenal always bottle it. This season is ours

August 17, 201411 yr Might want to wait until our first game is over before drawing comparisons. Aye when I see comments like this it makes me think we are just asking for trouble tomorrow lol.
August 17, 201411 yr If Newcastle had any real quality in the final 3rd today they would have got a point at least. They need another forward to partner Reviere (Remy?) who looks like he can hold the ball up well but can't finish.
August 17, 201411 yr Might want to wait until our first game is over before drawing comparisons. Why? Even if we lost that I think we have more than enough to come out on top this season. United need at least 3 world class players Liverpool need a world class striker which they have no chance of getting Arsenal don't look any better than last season It's only City and we bossed them last season, now we have a world class midfielder and a deadly striker we are complete. All that plus we have Jose means this is our season.
August 17, 201411 yr You can't make these judgements after 1 game. Liverpool will still get plenty of goals from Sturridge and Sterling, and I'm sure others will weigh in. Arsenal have improved their squad and I'm pretty sure wil finish above 4th this year. Utd won't be 7th again. Van Gaal simply can't be as sh*t as Moyes was.

Yes I can, players bought now will be panic buys. Arsenal have added Sanchez but still lack a world class striker and they leak goals. We have done our business and now have a group who will build on last season. We have the best defence in the league as was shown last season and have added a quality left back to that. We have added a goal scoring midfielder who was world class in the EPL before while adding one of the most prolific strikers in Europe. I think I can make the judgement that we will win this title.
