August 18, 201411 yr Newcastle are one of our bogey sides it seems. They tend not to do too well against the top teams but they alwasys give us a game. They need Remy or someone like him otherwise goals will be a real struggle.
August 18, 201411 yr Sunderland are our example of your Newcastle, They always seem to roll over for Arsenal, Liverpool, United and yourselves yet continue to beat us 1-0 after 1-0, Every team has a bogey side, I remember when Madrid could not beat Deportivo away for love nor money.
August 18, 201411 yr Is it customised from last year though? (I assume it's a Southampton fan, not a Pool?)

Sunderland tend to give us a few goals at the Stadium of Light, but when they come to the Bridge they have been anything but giving of late. Really they put the final nail in our title bid last season.
August 18, 201411 yr Chelsea were 7/4 faves for the title prior to this match and now are 13/10 red hot faves, We were 9/4 before the match and are still 9/4, Arsenal were 9/2, They are now 5/1 and 11/2, United were 8/1 and are now 9/1, Liverpool were 10/1 and are now 12/1. In simple English the above numbers basically mean after reviewing tonight's performance, The bookies think it's Chelsea's title to lose with only City having a slight chance of crashing the party, Arsenal, United and Liverpool will be playing for bronze medal. Very good performance, The only straw us opposing fans can clutch onto i guess is, Having set such high standards after a performance like tonight, Hopefully there might be a dip in form somewhere down the line, Obviously won't be happening in the first few months of the season what with how well the new players seem to be gelling.
August 18, 201411 yr Mean to ask - how was Ruud on MOTD on Saturday? Is he a regular pundit on there now or just one of the ones who fills in occasionally?
August 18, 201411 yr Kinkladze, other than the 20 so minutes after Burnley scored, I felt the team was stuck in third gear at best
August 18, 201411 yr I suppose you're right Barry but i still thought it was a very classy performance, Nothing was helter skelter, Everything seemed to be in control for you lot, We might have to park a bus against you lot this year.
August 18, 201411 yr I don't really understand why we're favourites this year. We're one injury away from having no striker again whereas City have quality everywhere to back up their first choice.
August 19, 201411 yr We do that all the time, I knew once we had won the half quite comfortably we would just pass it about in the 2nd half. Mourinho just wants points and that's all he wants, I'm very fine with that and I don't care for others opinions on negative football. It would be boring if we all tried to play the same way.
August 19, 201411 yr I'm just glad on this forum we are all still realistic and not completely arrogant, compared to Bluemoon for example where City fans claim they'll walk the league, they can win the treble, dominate Europe etc, haha.
August 19, 201411 yr Daniel Drinkwater gotta be the best name in the premier league Not if Leicester manage to buy Rod Fanni
August 19, 201411 yr Burnley were spirited, i thought they would be! Think they'll do ok this season.

August 19, 201411 yr At least they're honest on their, if that had been dippers in that situation they've have just claimed it took a lucky bounce and he's sh*t anyway. Fair play to most on that site, it's going to hurt them watching him for us.
August 19, 201411 yr Look what Camel Face has to say http://www.squawka.com/news/rio-ferdinand-backs-man-utd-to-win-the-premier-league-this-season/161028?

August 19, 201411 yr Mata..... Today at 10:13 #44 Report Aliten New Member It was a panic buy to try and kick start Moyes' team into action. At £37 million, he will surely go down as one of the worst buys in Utd history. At the moment, it's on a par with the Fellani transfer. Anonymous throughout his Utd career, he can't control a game, can't run. can't chase back, can't head, can't tackle and has only one foot. Unbelievably, they're not his biggest failing, that's his lack of speed in doing anything. Slows Utd down at every opportunity, mainly because he can't keep up, allowing the opposition to reorganise every time. Ask yourself, how many attacks have gone through the middle in the last 6 months, how many slide rule passes? Very few, making Utd easy to defend against, as it always goes down the wings. Don't kid yourself with the number of assists he has, all free kicks and corners. In fact, check his free kicks and corners against Swansea, absolute garbage. A Chelsea sub, a Spanish sub and he should be a Utd sub.
