This guy is unbelievable. His team just took the lead and one of his teammates just ended what has been a tough period in his Real Madrid career and all he could do was be annoyed because his shot didn't go in....................the guy is an asshole. One of the most unlikeable people in the game.

Not many agree with me but he's also a very overrated player, besides his goal scoring abilities he is not in the same class as the likes of Bale, Messi and Suarez.

Not many agree with me but he's also a very overrated player, besides his goal scoring abilities he is not in the same class as the likes of Bale, Messi and Suarez.

I just can't agree with that at all, Ronaldos ability on the ball is overrated by many, his goal scoring overlooks a lot of his current abilities. Bale has the ability to just run through players, his drive is amazing, Ronaldo barely beats players, not to a top standard anyway. Also Luis Suarez is capable of many things, a fantastic team player who also has a knack for scoring a lot of goals, he plays out wide for Barcelona but he is fitting in the system perfectly.

Sunderland can eff orf to the Championship, horrible journey for our lads and they always play like a bunch of Pele's and Maldini's against us.

ronaldo doesn't beat players like he used to. when he was at utd, he was a real nightmare for defenders, similar to how robben would terrorise defenders for us, but after he dropped that from his play and was told to be more direct, he turned into a pure goalscorer more than anything. There are glimpes recently where he looks to take on players, but he's just not the same any more.

You said Bale and Suarez have more ability than Ronaldo, Unless you are basing this on FIFA I have no idea what you are watching.

Ronaldo is still one of the best footballers with the ball at his feet, only Messi I have above him. He cut much of his greedy wing play out of his game when Jose was in charge of Madrid and became a more complete player for it.

The spaces he finds himself in is world class, he doesn't need to be as direct as he was before...his goals tell there own story as does the fact he's always the one to dig Real out of bad situations these days.

I don't think he's the best in the world however he is miles ahead of the two players you have mentioned.

I love Eden as much as anyone but Ronaldo on the ball is a constant threat, a guy scores goals seemingly for fun and also gets a good amount of assists.

 

Yes he's selfish, which EVERY GREAT SPORTSMAN has been accused of. Jordan was an asshole, Tiger Woods was an asshole but it's that drive to be great which gets them to the top of the mountain and I would absolutely love for Eden to develop that. Be selfish, be a twat and tell everyone else 'I'm the man'.

 

Hazard should watch Ronaldo and copy him. Take more shots per game because it's not like you're benevolence is creating a ton of chances for your teammates.

 

I know some people will take umbrage at me criticising our best player but he has the ability to be the best player in the world and I want him to get there. We've never before had a player with his potential and I want to see a Chelsea player be the best in the world.

 

But criticising Ronaldo? The guy is one of the two best players in the world and time and time again puts that Madrid team on his back. Sometimes being a bit of a twat comes with the territory and sometimes the greatest just attract jealousy - ask Jose.

On Poyet, I think he wants to go and I think its clear they want him gone but I get the feeling the club doesn't want to pay him off. He's lost the dressing room and I think they're going down regardless of whether he's sacked or not. Sunderland have a strange squad though, loads of average-to-decent players, but none that will produce consistently and none that particularly stand out. My friend and tried to construct a Sunderland 'clear first XI' a few weeks ago - it's near to impossible (other than Billy Jones obviously).
