Fair to play to Pelligrini for coming out and publically stating that his players who surrounded the ref on the penalty call at the end will be suspended by the club for the next three matches. Shows he meant what he said yesterday.

Then again. Perhaps not.

We don't deserve to and haven't deserved to win the title all year, If you win tomorrow it's basically pop the champers time and luckily this title loss has been easier to swallow since I've gotten to know a few of you on here and therefore know my enemies aren't pricks Lol Worrying thing for us is we could finish outside the top 4 if we continue imploding, Arsenal and Liverpool are on fire and United will scrape it, That leaves us hanging on if we don't get our act together.

p.s. If I hear any of you boys worrying about Arsenal chasing you down for the title since we probably won't, May I remind you of one thing? Arsene Wenger.

That.  Was.  GREAT to see Burnley beat Man City.  Am I still pissed about what happened a couple of weeks ago?  Absolutely.  But what was even better was seeing Arlo White and Graeme Le Saux of NBCSN confused at how Burnley beat them.

credit to tim sherwood, aston villa are really doing well. i am glad we have got that fixture out of the way, especially with them coming into some form. Gotta feel for gus though, he has done all he can do with sunderland i think so probably a good time to leave.

He should have been wearing a mouthguard. his chin is pure, Liverpudlian glass! However, i don't think he was knocked out cold and was likely faking it as there was no urgency to help him while he was lying there.

Just seen the penalty not given to West brom, absolutely ridiculous. Refs are having a terrible time

My sarcasm detector is off the scale.

And imagine the shame of being knocked out for real with pink boxing gloves :-)

I find City's issues heartening as the issues prove that you can't buy 'it'. Money is not enough - it only works if players are a team playing the right system and if players are motivated. That's the good thing, as always, about football - that Burnley can turn up on a given day and overcome the odds.

 Rooney is trolling everyone with this incident; he wasn't knocked out   I guarantee it.

Just had a good look at Blue Moon which is a pretty sensible place most of the time unlike RAWK & The Fighting Cock.  A lot of negativity - to be expected after yesterday.

MCFC fans and CFC fans say pretty much the same things when the going gets tough.  It's the manager, players look demotivated/can't be arsed, where's the youth, let's pick on X where X is a player who is having a tough spell, we need to spend more, the squad's aging blah, blah, blah.

Reality is all this is true to a greater or lesser extent for all top teams (and all teams I suppose) and it's apparent that it is *leeding hard to fight effectively on a number of fronts and be successful across the board.  Especially as over the last decade many more teams have got their act together due to the increasing wealth of the Prem'.  This trend will continue for obvious reasons.

I think that makes for a much better season than the old monopoly/duopoly of old.

Every team has inexplicable bad matches, bad runs, bad seasons.  It's like the life disappears from the collective psyche of the team.  And every now and again the whole shebang needs an expensive and laborious overhaul.  I think we are a season or so away from the end of our overhaul and City are not far away from entering theirs.

Cue Elton singing 'Circle of Life'.

Are we sure that Rooney video isn't a set up? I mean why the f**k were they having a boxing match in a kitchen? And the others just laugh at the end.

When people get knocked out they don't land like that. He uses his arms to cushion his landing and the way his legs go up and down doesn't really look natural.
