April 9, 201511 yr He looks ok I suppose but don't you think we'd be better getting Marin back off loan LOL
April 9, 201511 yr It'd be nice to win the league with a game or 2 to go so we could run out a few of these kids.
April 10, 201511 yr Not just RLC. I really hope some of these and the U21s can step up and make a career at Chelsea. Boga, Aina, solanke, Christensen, colkett looked again today good as well as others.
April 10, 201511 yr Why pay millions for Barkley or Henderson when we've got talent like RLC and Bamford. I really do hope they get more playing time.
April 10, 201511 yr He looks good, but the question remains whether he will be given a chance to prove it in the first team. I'm not holding my breadth...
April 18, 201511 yr Mourinho said: “Next season, Ruben will not be a kid in the development process. He will be a first-team player, absolutely ready to play and compete. And we will do the same with two or three players. The older ones will go on loan to play in the Championship, the Premier League, even abroad. It's a process. But to have them all at the same time in the first-team squad is hard. For sure, Ruben next season will be considered a player ready to go.”
April 18, 201511 yr I'l believe when i see it. My thoughts exactly, hopefully he can live up to his word.
April 18, 201511 yr Here's an interesting question about. Had Carlo Anchalotti been kept on would Josh have become the player we all hoped he would be. I personally have never been the biggest fan of Carlo, but have to wander if we would have seen more success from the youth players had we had the stability

April 18, 201511 yr What didn't you like about Carlo? Haha I actually wrote it all out above but then decided that it was irrelevent to my point. To be very quick about it I never felt he had it at the top level in terms of wining leagues. In the season we won the league he didn't seem to be able to affect the games that went wrong. We had the best team by some way but the league was to close for comfort. He had a great great milan team and only won the league one time in 8 seasons. Yes he has won 3 CL titles but I prefer the league and I think the CL can be very luck orientated. Great bloke, good coach, not a great one

Great bloke, good coach, not a great one Fair enough I suppose, I guess thinking about it you might be right about him not effecting games we were behind in and yeah his league winning history isn't very good. Maybe I just have sentiment for him because he is a really good guy but I wish he had been given longer here to see what else he could have achieved.
April 18, 201511 yr I remember being very frustraed with Carlo and his subs when we were in our "bad moment". He would wait till about 79 minutes then make a like for like change at RB when we were trying to win.

Don't remind me lol the worst was that defeat to Arsenal, they weren't even that good, we were just awful.
May 5, 201511 yr https://youtube/kICxdzl0dNU cant wait to see him play in the next few games ! Edited May 5, 201511 yr by DidierDrogbalala
May 5, 201511 yr Even in that meaningless CL game he still only got about 10 minutes. I wouldn't hold your breath on him getting much. It'll be the usual 11 against Liverpool, and then maybe the likes of Luis, Mikel, Cuadrado, etc... against the last 2.
May 5, 201511 yr Even that appearance felt like a PR stunt in response to City's new youth academy setup.
May 5, 201511 yr Don't remind me lol the worst was that defeat to Arsenal, they weren't even that good, we were just awful. That season was easily the most boring season in football when it came to the Premier League. I believe United managed to win it that season despite winning only 4 away games or something.
May 5, 201511 yr If Ramires is out with his illness as is being reported (wish him a speedy recovery), it does mean we should be seeing Loftus-cheek in action. Looks a man playing against boys in some of those clips.

May 5, 201511 yr Mourinho has already said multiple times that Loftus Cheek will be a 1st team player next season. Usually when he talks about the youth players, i don't believe him but on this occasion i do think he sees something in the kid. With the title wrapped up, i see no reason why not to play him. Get him some minutes, let him taste the Premier League.
May 5, 201511 yr Loftus Cheek fits the physical profile of midfielder Mourinho likes. Height, strength and decent technique. He mentioned he would never have let Matic go the first time because of this also (and the fact he is left footed).
