November 29, 20187 yr No wonder everyone wants to go to Madrid. You just get awards thrust at you for no reason. Like vinicius junior getting a young player of the year (golden boy or whatever) nomination off the back of 4 first team appearances. also ... who ???? Edited November 29, 20187 yr by Stim

Well, he does deserve something for his beautiful Roman Emperor sort of name.
December 3, 20187 yr Thibaut Courtois best goalkeeper of 2018 in Ballon d'Or final rankings https://twitter.com/francefootball/status/1069651271341223936
December 3, 20187 yr As another poster put it, the only time he looked World Class while on the pitch with Chelsea players, he was the goaltender for Athletico Madrid. He might get back to where he was when first in Madrid, but he never reached those levels here. Despite that got pretty much anything he could ever ask for from the club and still spat in our faces when presented with the option of acting respectfully to get the move he wanted or like a total prat to force the move he wanted. Hate to think he might be aware of CFC fans opinion of him and if so his second World Class performance will likely be next time he plays us.
December 4, 20187 yr When was the last time we (competitively) played Real? I remember being gutted that we didn't get to play them in 2004. When they had Raul, Figo, Zidane etc Those would have been fantastic games to watch.

December 12, 20187 yr Three goals in tonight, and 15 minutes to play yet. The madridistas must be happy with this "lovely guy" (don't want to annoy the political correct or lose my job), although not entirely his fault.
February 4, 20197 yr https://weaintgotnohistory.sbnation.com/2019/2/4/18210042/courtois-still-trying-to-save-face-over-chelsea-liessss “In March I had a meeting with Marina (Granovskaia) in which I told her that I would like to leave — living in London and the busy schedule made it impossible to see my kids, who lived in Madrid... “‘Are you going to find something?’ she replied. I told her, ‘Don’t worry’. ‘That’s good,’ she said. ‘We’ll let you go and we will find a replacement.’ “But, suddenly after the World Cup, a departure wasn’t that obvious anymore. All possible targets seemed too expensive. That was not what we had agreed on.”
February 4, 20197 yr worse thing about that is the fact Marina Granovskaia is with out doubt calling all the shots !!

What a disaster he is. Does concern me that we weren't in for Alisson if we knew Courtois was leaving, but I'm happy enough with Kepa.

February 9, 20197 yr Thing with Tibo that always annoyed me is that he never looked bothered when he conceded a goal. Always bothered me.
February 15, 20197 yr Speaking again about how he loves playing with Eden and would be delighted to be playing with him again.Ok firstly, you're both Belgian. You will play alongside each other again anyway. And secondly, you're a goalkeeper! Hazard is a forward. Either he is shooting against you in training, or he is on the other side of the pitch all throughout a match. What are you talking about!? ... Playing with each other...
