It's strange to have invested so much into a 'keeper and then making him share playing time. 

You could understand if he was quite young or new to the country and the league but he isn't any of those things. 

To me the purchase of Courtois was a way for Real to buy a high profile player to appease fans somewhat after the sale of Ronaldo without having to spend big money. 

Madrid have really reigned in their spending over the last few years, the galatico era seems to be at an end.

If it's a straight choice between the two, money is no object, I reckon they'd go for Neymar because the chance to get one over on Barca by signing their former player would be too good to turn down I reckon. 

Hazard's going to sign a new contract with us before the end of the season anyway so I wouldn't worry.

A lot of Madrid fans turning on him recently, doesn't take much with them lot. Wonder if Courtois regrets his decision.

Considering how much fuss was being made I was quite surprised to see that Real are only four points off top. Having just lost one of their all-time great players, and a hugely popular manager with unprecedented success in Europe, a bit of turbulence was surely inevitable? El Clasico this weekend mind, I expect that will be pivotal to Real's season one way or the other.

Its worse than it looks when you look at their last 5 matches. 4 losses and a draw and smashing a record for the longest time without a goal in Madrid history. With no sign of improving its definitely panic stations over there at the moment.

I have always said it, he is easy to score goals against, and with an open defense like Real Madrid's, this weakness will be exposed even more. He has only ever looked good when he has played with good defenses. Shoot hard and low and you will always have a good chance to score against him, even more so if you aim for his near post.

I’m glad we got rid of him, I think he would have struggled under Sarri too. 

Kepa isn’t the best in the world but he is far more suited for Sarriball.

Courtois is far from a decent bloke, the way he handled this transfer, moving to Real despite having won over A.Madrid fans while he was there, trying to get Hazard to join him, etc etc. He’s a prick and what he’s going through right now, that’s the least he deserves. I am glad he’s being shown up for what he is, I wonder how long until RM go back in for De Gea?
