God damn, we really need to get going in the transfer window.

Cannot afford to stand still.

I agree, but i am sure fans of most clubs are thinking the same right now. Things seem to be going very slow for every club at the moment.

Pirlo officially signs for NFC FC.

Him, Lampard and David Villa all in the same team, even if they are in their 30's is brilliant stuff for the MLS.

Mix Diskerud, an up and coming American midfielder, is there too. Quite excited for him to be mentored by Lamps

and Pirlo.

I thought Mix Diskerud was an awesome name and then I saw his real name, Mikkel Morgenstar Pålssønn "Mix" Diskerud.

Good move by United selling RVP. He's ageing quickly, better to sell him now whilst he still has some value.

Makes me laugh how Arsenal fans think he made a mistake going there, the guy won the Premier League title which is exactly why he went there. Gooners win back yo back FA Cups and suddenly think they're the sh*t.

Arsenal have resigned Arteta for another year, and with that will not attempt to buy an upgrade to their DM slot (according to DM).

Great news for us and everyone else if that is the case, another year of Arteta and Flamini anchoring their midfield should be enough to stop them being a serious contender.

Well, Coquelin was brilliant for them so it only seems right to keep him as the starter but they probably should get better backup for him.

Also remains to be seen if he can keep up that level and be one of the best DM's in the league for a whole season, but I guess that's what they are banking on.

I feel like this will be a slow window, too many top players are on long term deals which is dragging out the transfers for the middle to low tier players. I think teams can also tell that the market is massively inflated making negotiations tough, it's kinda obvious when players like Frimino, Douglas Costa, Turan at his age and Kondogbia are going for €35m+ and you won't call them top class players.

Pirlo alongside Lamps, quality.

Now, it's time to talk about Carlo.

And... Sergio.

Sergio Ramos has grown disillusioned with life at Real Madrid after publicly supporting sacked manager Carlo Ancelotti, according to the club's former president Ramon Calderon.

Manchester United are said to be keen to sign the Madrid and Spain defender, who is apparently unsettled with talks over a contract extension at the Bernabeu stalling.

Calderon believes the club have failed to offer Ramos new terms because of his support for Ancelotti before he was sacked by president Florentino Perez.

"It's clear that Ramos isn't happy because the president hasn't offered him a contract extension," Calderon told talkSPORT.

"To me it seems as though it is a public dressing down over his support for Carlo Ancelotti and for saying that he did not agree he should have been sacked. The same thing with Iker Casillas.

"Let's see what happens in the next few weeks. He is an icon for Real Madrid fans, on and off the pitch.

"I don't know if he is the best central defender in the world but he is one of the best. He can play in the middle of defence, on the right or in midfield."

In another twist, a confidant of Ramos’ brother and agent says the player can't remain at Real Madrid as his relationship with Perez has broken down.

Marca reports that the centre-back and the President have a ‘non-existent’ rapport as Ramos has grown unhappy with stories leaking from Santiago Bernabeu that paint him as a ‘money-grabber.’

Ramos is also concerned that he might be pushed out of the club as players such as Fernando Hierro and Raul Gonzalez have been, and as Marca suggests Iker Casillas is about to be, and that his commitment to the Madrid cause has been questioned.

The Madrid vice-captain said in January that he was not in a hurry to renew his contract as he expected to be at the club for a long time regardless, but is disappointed at gossip that has portrayed him in a negative light.

Pedro Riesco, who works with Rene Ramos - Sergio’s brother and agent - told Radio Marca that the situation had deteriorated to the point a departure is almost inevitable.

“Right now, with everything that is happening, I see it too difficult for Sergio to continue in Madrid,” Riesco is quoted as saying. “He has become an emblem. There is little to prove what is being said about Sergio, which unfortunately is a lot. There is manipulation, discrediting through unofficial spokesmen who behave like puppets, ensuring that Sergio doesn’t represent the badge, that he’s money-grabbing…”

Ramos has said little publically, aside from telling a reporter he is ‘calm’ over the situation, although Marca reveal he is anything but, and in fact is angry at how events are transpiring.

He is also said to want to avoid a repeat of his time at Sevilla, when the then-President, Jose Maria Del Nido, manoeuvred his exit to make Ramos into the bad guy, which led to Ramos facing the wrath of Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan when he returned with Madrid.

It’s said that Ramos would appreciate a gesture of reconciliation from Perez and that he feels the only way the issue can be resolved is face-to-face with the president.

The most crucial thing we need to do in the transfer window is sign a midfielder in my opinion. We are far too short of good options in the central role besides Matic and Fabregas. Loftus Cheek doesn't have the experience to be relied on, Mikel is Mikel, Ramires tends to usually play awful in the two man midfield role.

I think we need a partner for Matic then give Fabregas the freedom of going forward by rotating with Oscar in the number 10 role, another role we would save from being skint of options.

Besides that not too concerned. I have faith in Cuadrado when some have already given up, disappointing to see, Falcao I'm disapponted but what other options do we have. Only thing I'm sad to see is that we aren't in for a midfielder just yet,  but we need to remember it's the 7th of July, we have plenty of time.

They have gotten Richards and Milner off their wage bill, sold Rekik, Dzeko and Jovetic are pretty much gone as well. Take all that into account along with the transfer budget they would have had last season if they weren't restricted and the sales of Natastic, Negredo, etc, they are spending well within their means. UEFA have already confirmed this anyway, they passed FFP.

Last summer City bought (from memory) Fernando, Caballero, Mangala for a combined £50m. They also got Sagna and Lampard on freebies but paid top dollar on wages. Oh and in the winter they bought Bony. That's another £25m. This is for a club that had supposedly transgressed rules. Ridiculous.

And they were still sh*t.

They did recoup £25m in sales but even so, their net spend was the second highest in the league, after Utd.

Another player I've never heard of. I suppose I should watch more football than just Chelsea matches. But... Can';t be bothered.
