Rhaman wasn't on the bench for the WBA game because due to our late interest in Pogba we didn't want him wearing the newly assigned number 6 shirt.

By not selecting him the number can be given to Pogba should he sign this week, his old number at Juventus.

He is 21, in a new league, new team... some players need a bit more bedding in. I'm pretty sure Jose didn't want to play Kennedy at wingback yesterday either but needs and musts, he had to go for it.

The worrying part is that he's been targeted since game one and we have yet to realign our tactics. I hope we see Rahman and Azpi deployed on the flanks following the international break. We cannot afford to lost any more points.

I'm fairly new to following the BPL, only been seriously following Chelsea for about 2 years now. (Fell in love with them on a trip to London in 2013). Can someone help shed light on why Baba isn't playing? And why some other players who are struggling are still playing? I'm having a hard time understanding why our lineup continues to remain basically the same after all of the struggles we've had.

For example, I've read on here that Ivanovic always plays because he is vice-captain. IMHO I think that that is a terrible reason to continue to play someone who is out of form. Are other players not able to lead, when Terry and Ivanovic cannot be relied on? Just some thoughts I've had after watching today's match. Very frustrating.

We just need somebody to step up and take over, and we haven't had that this season, like we did last year with Hazard just running circles around opponents.

Well you're not the only one wondering what's actually going on at the moment. We don't have access to the full story, for sure. We can believe Jose (no problems; we're favourites against Arsenal) or not. Personally I would have liked to see more player rotation. I don't think that our first 11-15 players will be able to carry us through the whole season. 

Jose has his favourites. Simple as that.

Rumour has it that Baba Rahman doesn't actually exist, he's just a fictional character played by a member of the marketing team.
