I guess because of how Chelsea are perceived by other people, I've been asked who do you support before and after I say Chelsea people's faces drop, I find it funny actually.

Something like that. I get the feeling people think im a front runner since I wasnt born into it. Being from MISSOURI (cough cough) I would relate to someone being a Yankees fan when theyre nowhere near NY

1. Cuadrado is a good player and given the chance he'll show that here

2. Zouma should be starting ahead of Cahill

3. We should be playing Fabregas behind the striker and we need a CM

4. We almost always look more likely to concede once Mikel is brought on

5. Ramires is rubbish.

I'm starting to think the same way. I have always been with Mourinho picking Fabregas to play next to Matic, but i think Fabregas is starting to get found out. I am seeing him misplace passes more often and he is often getting tackled. I like what Mourinho did in pre season, he put Oscar in Fabregas position and Oscar actually looked comfortable. He can also track back and tackle better than Fabregas. I would like to see Oscar and Fabregas swap positions and see how it goes.

Whoa, hold up.....you're from Missouri?! When did that happen and why didn't you tell me!!

Sure

1. Lots of people on this forum don't really know anything about other teams, leagues, players which isn't to do with Chelsea, and often make terribly misinformed opinions (which is the annoying thing). Only seen SydneyChelsea, PloKoon, Remodez and ForeverCarefree make consistently good posts on that front.

2. Guardiola is a much better coach & manager than Mourinho (as good as the latter is)

3. Le Saux wasn't too far off Cole's level

4. Gutted we didn't go for Sterling because he was as good, if not better than Hazard two seasons ago, and will probably progress to become better than him.

5. Lampard wasn't as good as Gerrard in terms of prime performance

1.) Can't believe you didn't mention me

2.) Pep's been having a bumpy ride at Bayern, the fans have mixed feelings about him. I'm not sure if he's better than Mourinho, but he certainly is more courageous at times.

4.) Yeezus! I disagree with you entirely on that point with Sterling. I doubt he'd be as good as Hazard (prime). I think Sterling's ceiling is around Joe Cole. He'll be a good player, but he'll never truly reach that world class level.

Do apologise for that. Definitely had you in my mind but forgot your name!

Key part, two seasons ago

Two seasons, ago, when he was an 18/19 year old? There is not one 20 year old that has put in performances in the big leagues over the past 18 months like Raheem has. There's figures if you want to see which that he's matching Hazard in everything except assists per 90. So for non penalty goals per 90, key passes, completion, tackles, interceptions, dribbles, he's putting in Hazard-esque numbers. All whilst being shunted all over the pitch and playing for a dismal team. Not even two seasons ago, but even after that he's still fulfilled lots of the things mentioned . He's putting in world class numbers all across the board. He might not world class, but he's on the verge of it. Give him a platform like he'd get at any better club (like with a certain team he moved to), and he would show you it. And that's talking about his current ability. The previous doesn't even include that his ability to play in multiple positions for a sh*t Liverpool team is (was) the only threat to his development. He's shown mental fortitude after being dropped from the team for a period of 12 months, then he's carried them for half a season, starred on big stages for them, made the switch to playing well for his country in a different set up, and he's improved physically all throughout that time. He's versatile enough to find himself involved and getting game time in any set up. None of the usual stagnation threats apply to him anymore so irrespective if a lot of this was two seasons ago, there has been nothing to suggest that that form won't be both replicated as well as improved on.

This doesn't detract from the point at all.

If I post controversial nonsense like how Guardiola is much better than Mourinho and Sterling was better than Hazard, despite nearly all professional football writers and other people paid to know about football not agreeing, is that how to avoid making misinformed comments?

Unfortunately if you haven't read Inverting the Pyramid and posted your critique of it on w**kyfootballhipsterblogs.com you're a footballing philistine.

Bit of a sweeping statement to say only 3 or 4 people know about other clubs and leagues isnt it ? haha

Best thing is, he's listed me as one of those 4 and I openly admit I rarely watch any football besides Chelsea.

:laugh2:

I prefer the old days, and I have to confess I don't like many Chelsea fans, especially the ones on European trips, so there.

And knowing lots about other football teams is just sad.

The hot dogs were better in the old days too.

And the programme, and the kit.

I was better looking too and younger.

Must go and look for my wig, bye.

Definitely.
