I doubt it, Oscar should be in perfect condition, he has played the least out of the first team so far.

Unless he's injured, I think it's another case of Jose blaming/dropping the wrong player.

I see no logic in him not travelling last night. 

 

How Fabregas is being preferred to him in the number 10 role is completely lost on me.

Hmm, now that you mention it. This whole Oscar thing does feel eerily similar to Mata's situation in 2013.

agreed, especially if the board continues to adopt the "must sell to buy" strategy. seems they are more proud of retaining a healthy balance sheet as opposed to delivering results on the park. 

 

oscar is a player that i think we could comfortably get £35m for - he'll be sold. 

I don't think Oscar will be sold- if that was the case than he would have turned up at the Etihad in the CL opener and we would have Pogba next to Matic in our Midfield.

 

I think it was just precautionary him not playing mid-week with a big game at the bridge on the Weekend 

He should be sold though because he isn't creative enough to be a number 10.

Started the previous 3 matches. 3 matches in 10 days will tire you out when you have to play as a 10 and 8 at the same time. He'll be ready come Saturday.

Oscar works just as hard as Willian though, the difference is Willian can keep the ball for more than 2 seconds.

one man doesn't make a team (unless you are messi or ronaldo) and who else around him did much to help today? when the team co-operates oscar is a beast, but when the team are sh*t as a whole or two many individual poor performances, oscar doesn't have the same impact. he tries to find space to shoot at least, but it's impossible for him to change the game by himself when everyone around him is showing nothing. 

I'm always right...
