Well that just wasn't good enough, and most just going down the tunnel without showing some appreciation for the poor f**kers who travelled to see them..

But.. Some of the comments on here are cringeworthy and have no correlation to my thoughts on what supporting a club is.

Worse for them tbh they've had Ferguson for all those years, we've had a few low points before.

I'd say this is worse for us. They had Moyes in charge, out of his depth and a bona fide 'excuse'. Plus their squad fell off a cliff.

We have one of the best, if not the best coach in football, and a relatively young and talented squad.

I really don't see us beating Arsenal next weekend

Hopefully we get some confidence with a win against maccabi in mid week, because I really can't see where our next win is going to from in the league.

Next 3 leagues games:

Arsenal home

Newcastle away

Southampton home

Not at all confident of more than 2 points from those games, unless there is drastic improvement.

I think I love you ;)

I have watched enough football over the years to know it's silly throwing the towel in when we are only in September.

Chelsea are just in bad form. It won't last all season.

Fans today are spoilt, reactionary bellends.

What do we do come Wednesday?

Do you start the same players we've been playing all season in hope they could gain some form come the Arsenal game or do we bring in some of the new players/non-starters (such as Baba, Falcao, Oscar, etc) to see what they could bring into the team.

Some forum members advocating sacking Mourinho five games after we won the league, let alone a season or two, is a very handy reminder to stop viewing the matchday thread after a loss.

Blind support is equal to extremism . Question has to be asked and its basic human intelligence, Fergie didnt play bad performing players week in week out, in fact he booted them out of the club sooner than later.

You are supposed to support the manager win and lose.

Fergie didn't get sacked every time things got difficult. He went back to the drawing board and built new teams.

Fans today are so spoilt!

Yeah we can still turn it around as we still have the quality, just hope we get back into form soon.

Not at all. You have still got a world class manager and players.

We had Moyes and an ageing squad plus an awful midfield.

At least wait until around Xmas until you write off your title hopes. Things in football change VERY quickly.

The circumstances may not be the same but coming into the season as champions and just falling at every hurdle is what I was getting at.

I would right off our title hopes now but that's just out of realism because it's likely that we will lose more games before the season ends and to get the title we'd need to pretty much go relatively unbeaten to the end and we look nowhere near doing that seen as we have everyone bar oscar available and look this bad.

The one thing I see as a positive would be if we get through this blip and remain in the top four and the board stand by Mourinho then we know they really are going to build. The comings and goings of managers we have seen under the Abramovic era is definitely holding the team back from becoming the dominant team United were under Fergie.

this form wont last all season. but we need significant imrovement just to end up in top 4. and the title is gone. anybody who thinks we can still win it is batsh*t insane.

Fergie persisted with Jonny Evans and Tom Cleverley for years despite it being obvious they were not good enough.

All managers get it wrong, even the very best. They are human beings, after all.

F*ck*n* b*ll**it c*c* d**n m*th*r f*ck*r b*lls **** **** ****** *****!!!!!!!!!!!

We simply cannot keep chopping and changing, we gave this man a new contract and he must see it out. If he decides to resign then fair enough but the club must absolutely not force him out the door. Bad form happens, I know bad form is probably an understatement to describe what we're witnessing but we're in this position deservedly and now we must pull the finger out and change things ourselves and not change things in management. I love the manager but this season he has dragged the clubs name and his name through the dirt because of his antics, I honestly don't think as a club we've been hated so much in our history than at this present time

Whilst I semi agree, people are just reacting with their heart and it disappoints me when their loyalties etc are questioned because they share their opinion, no matter how extreme or 'ridiculous' other people see it.

Knee jerks are part of life, I think 80% of this thread has been fairly good. We're a hell of a lot better than other forums.

Glad that's over. It's going to be extremely difficult for us to get back into the title race now, although stranger things have happened.

Our confidence will be rock bottom right now so Mourinho has a tough job on his hands, but if he can't handle it then who can?

It will be very interesting to see how we live up against Tel Aviv and Arsenal. There are clearly some underperforming players but our problem is deeper than that.

Another week, same story, or worse story. Roman need to summon Jose in tomorrow and ask him what's the hell is going on with the team selection. Is Baba Rahem injured, is Remy injured, is Cesc a must pick as part of his contract? The special one is keep ingoring the same problems that have hurt us all season. I mean the only optional change he made was Mikel for Willian, I guess that's pretty much due to Willian's long international flight. Despite everything he said after the palace game, he back flipped and pick his favorite players once more. My feeling is he will force they to play into form, so I expect pretty much a similar team on Wednesday. If we win that, he will have more reasons to pick them again on Saturday. It's absolutely ridiculous stubbornness from a top level manager. It's even more ridiculous he came out prematch and announced he's unsackable. Was that pure trolling or his arrogance has reached new height? It's amazing we could play almost the same 11 as last season, yet we looked like 11 strangers playing together and don't want be out there. Everton was not that great, we just handed over to them. We didn't make the Gk make 1 save in the whole second half. On today's performance, I reckon even Hazard should be benched, followed by other manager's favorites.

Who was advocating his sacking?

I don't think we've ever been this bad in the 20 odd years I have supported Chelsea, I can't even see light at the end of the tunnel.

Do we drop the worst performers? Change formation? Give games to some young guys/alternate players? We need to make changes it's so stale it's almost unbearable to watch.

I like and admire Jose, but sometime he has to take a responsibility and admit his mistakes.

Blaming everything else but him is getting old. No, I don't want him to be sacked, but I like him to eat more humble pie..
