September 2, 201510 yr http://www.chelseafc.com/news/latest-news/2015/09/hector-deal-completed.html It's official. I notice in this article CHelsea were not "delighted to welcome" him.
September 2, 201510 yr Stupid, pointless signing. Basically throwing away money at a nothing journeyman player who will never play for us. Sigh.
September 2, 201510 yr It's a very odd signing, but I watched him turn out for Aberdeen while he was on loan and he seemed a solid player. He's a Chelsea fan, counts as homegrown and crazy cheap in today's market. So what if he's just another loanee for now? Welcome to Chelsea Hector!
September 2, 201510 yr I really hope things work out for him and he gets a chance here. the only way he will get on the pitch here is to become a groundsman or a steward ..........
September 2, 201510 yr I can't see how. Zouma, Terry, Cahill, Ivan and even some of our loan boys should be ahead of this lad. It's one of the strangest transfers I have ever seen.

September 2, 201510 yr I do feel sorry for the lad as I just feel he's being used as a point to prove either the boards or Joses frustration. I can't see why else we would have bid for him then loaned him out again given his current ability and level he's playing at.
September 2, 201510 yr We hijacked him from Palace according to their chairman. First Willian, then Pedro, now Michael Hector
September 2, 201510 yr Optimistic write up on our latest recruit: http://www.squawka.com/news/scout-report-chelseas-new-4m-signing-michael-hector/453689 Edited September 2, 201510 yr by Socrates
September 2, 201510 yr He looks delighted. To be fair, just holding up a shirt to be photographed would make most people feel uncomfortable and grumpy. I've decided not to hold it against him.

September 2, 201510 yr Not too bad.... http://sabotagetimes.com/football/watch-new-chelsea-signing-score-unstoppable-long-range-goal Good distance but nothing really special. Goalie barely even flinched.
September 3, 201510 yr Good distance but nothing really special. Goalie barely even flinched. ...he is a centre back
September 3, 201510 yr Good distance but nothing really special. Goalie barely even flinched. Not too much power but it fooled the goalkeeper.
September 3, 201510 yr He's a chelsea fan...well at least he got to live his dream for five minutes...good luck to the guy but doubt we will ever see him play
September 3, 201510 yr He's a chelsea fan...well at least he got to live his dream for five minutes...good luck to the guy but doubt we will ever see him play So am I, so are you and so are the vast majority of folk on this forum. I think we all have about the same chance of realising our dream.
September 4, 201510 yr So am I, so are you and so are the vast majority of folk on this forum. I think we all have about the same chance of realising our dream. At least he had an official picture with a shirt. He can tell his grand children about that. Right? Right?
